Bridlewood Golf Club

About
Designed by D.A. Weibring, Bridlewood Golf Course features a spectacular combination of links-style and traditional features as it snakes its way through the flat farmlands and terrain that seem to be specifically created for golf.
The front nine isn’t as rugged as the back, and its first few holes feel more residential than the rest of the course. Two holes stand out. No. 8 is all carry over water at 195 yards, followed by the monster -- a par 4 that demands one heck of a tee shot to avoid the water left and out-of-bounds right in finding the skinny fairway. Next comes a long, long approach that will have you begging for a bogey.

best condition
There is nothing wrong with it except that the tee box is not flat.
Great Facilities, Great Course
Course was in great shape, only complaint is the greens seemed to have been punched recently and not fully recovered. Other than that everything else was exceptional.
Course is in bad shape. Sanded greens. Dirt and dead grass
Enjoy
Recent heavy rains washed-out the sand traps, but they're likely to be quickly restored.

The End
Great Course Layout - Really Slow Play.
We really enjoyed our time at Bridlewood this past weekend. The practice facility is absolutely outstanding! Staff both in the pro shop, the Rangers, as well as the restaurant are fantastic! Tee boxes were a little chewed up, fairways not bad, and greens ran very well. Biggest drawback, for Bridlewood was the fact that it took us five hours to play a round. Knew it was going to be a problem when we came off of number 2 and there were four groups (including us) on the short Par 3 3rd. At $125 non-member for the weekend one might expect a little faster play but not the case. From a business perspective I don’t blame them as they seem packed every day but 5 hours is bordering on ridiculous, On a positive note, the Bridlewood Grill and adjoining pizza place serve outstanding food!
Good value
A very busy public course. Very friendly staff.
Large driving range with many targets, great to see families out practicing together. Short came practice area, sand & Chipping.
Large, putting green located near the first tee
Really nice electric golf carts, and GPS system in the cart.
On course, bathrooms were just dreadful. Dark, not clean and not well supplied. One ladies room door locked. No bathroom code on card or mentioned by starter
Great Public Course
This was one of the best public golf courses I've played in the DFW area. A bit of a drive but worth it. Facilitates are top notch, great range and separate putting and short game practice areas. Course is quite mature with lots of water on the back nine makes this challenging. Overall the course tests your abilities but has no cheap holes. Pace of play was a bit slow but it was a Saturday morning, what do you expect.
Look forward to coming back and would highly recommend it to others.
Excellent Track
One of the best maintained courses in the DFW metroplex.
