Bridlewood Golf Club

About
Designed by D.A. Weibring, Bridlewood Golf Course features a spectacular combination of links-style and traditional features as it snakes its way through the flat farmlands and terrain that seem to be specifically created for golf.
The front nine isn’t as rugged as the back, and its first few holes feel more residential than the rest of the course. Two holes stand out. No. 8 is all carry over water at 195 yards, followed by the monster -- a par 4 that demands one heck of a tee shot to avoid the water left and out-of-bounds right in finding the skinny fairway. Next comes a long, long approach that will have you begging for a bogey.

Fun day
I love this course. Go pretty frequently. Wish they had a little better system for food on the turn. They don’t allow call in orders, and both times I’ve gone inside after the front 9, no one is at the counter to take an order. Both times I just went back to play so I don’t disrupt the pace of play. It also seams like they over book here every time I go as teeing off hole one always seams cramped. Other than that, fun course. Will continue to play here.
Great layout fast greens
Greens had been punched at least a few weeks ago but had almost entirely healed. Fastest greens I’ve played on this year. Last time I’d played here they were still bent grass. Best greens but required lots of water. Made the greens super soft. Not anymore. Very firm and fast not which increased difficulty substantially. Great layout. Risk reward par 4’s and 5’s. Fairways pretty beat up but good enough. At $40 it was a very good value
Not worth the money
Definitely not worth the money paid 106 to tee off at 2:20 and the course is nothing special at all. More or less a glorified Riverchase
Over priced
If a course is going to charge $115 for greens fees, it should have nice golf carts with on board computers, not old beat up gasoline powered carts. I guess they are able to get this high price, but I don't feel it is worth anywhere near that amount. It does have a nice 19th hole. But the overall course conditioning was not worth the price.
Would not recommend
The course was just average. What makes the review so bad is the level of condition combined with price (so value for money). They just aerated the greens. It made for poor putting. I understand it’s necessary. No issue. But don’t charge $115 until the greens come back. That price is ridiculous for that condition.
Great Course but too expensive
The course is great, staff, and restaurant is great but the increase in greens fees up over $115 makes the course not as desirable a choice.
I think they are trying to force you into a membership.
Fun Day in the Wind
Great round with some nice members. The greens were punched recently but are still rolling nicely. Other than the 25+ mph wind gusts it was a great day.
Way too slow
Played several times in past few months. This is my regular course and management needs to find a balance between number of regular members and their fee structure. most days it’s a zoo. 5 hour rounds are very common. If you value pace of play this course is a gamble. The course itself is great but the pace is awful most days.
Great Day at Bridlewood
Had a great round teed off early played quick and the course was great as always.
Terrible pace of play
Finished 13 holes in 4 hours. There was a line of carts waiting to tee off before our 2:04 slot and we didn’t start on time. Very disappointing for the price of the course
