About
Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Lots of fun, simple course
We had a blast, don’t expect much from a difficulty standpoint. It was kinda like the wild west… people everywhere hitting from every fairway. Definitely a beginner type course, but with that said, it was a lot of fun to just go out there and shank balls with my son.

Okay except...
I've played here dozens of times and it's always in the same condition, good. However, for the love of all humanity please clean your bathroom!!!!!! Every time I'm there it's disgusting and I try to hold my breath.

Poor service
I have played here many times in the past and had great experiences. However this time was not that. Person helping at check in was not helpful and I am not sure she really knew how to handle anything. We had 3 people and only two golfers but she made us pay green fees for all and we could only get 1 cart. Stating not enough carts and only two per group.on the course showed another story we had a group in front of us with 3 carts. 3 singles and mom and dad with their child l. The cost was ridiculous . Thank you and a customer and his friends are gone.

Unfriendly and unsanitary
It was the Saturday afternoon. There were 3 people working at the front desk, but I was never greeted or helped. After I waited for several minutes for help, I saw one of them walked out and handed a cart key to my husband waiting outside of the club house. They kept the men’s room open, and the urine smell was all over once you walk in to the club house. It was pretty disgusting. The course pace was not bad even though they booked every 5 minutes.

If You Can't Get On Anywhere Else
Almost every hole is straight and flat. There are a few holes with water or a moderate dogleg. Given it was a summer day before Independence Day, the course was crowded and pace of play was slow.
The greens were either barren in spots or allowed to grow out, making putting a guessing game on each hole.
There was no drink cart making the rounds and there were no clubhouse amenities of note. It's clear that the men's restroom had not been cleaned in some time based upon the smell and that have not kept up with routine maintenance.
