Lake Park Golf Course - Championship Course
About
Lake Park Golf Club is located below the Lake Lewisville dam, and was originally known as Oak Ridge Park. Make sure you warm up before your round, because no. 1 goes 465 yards with water in play off the tee. The next notable hole is no. 8, which offers a nice risk-reward situation with two small ponds protecting the green 312 yards away. With the wind, it is definitely driveable. On Lake Park Golf Club's back nine, no. 10 gives you the option to carry the lake with a 230-yard-plus drive, or lay up and leave yourself with a long approach over the water.

Golfer Reviews
Not the worst
Conditions are terrible this year, probably due to lack of rain and really hot temps. Greens, fairways, everything was probably in the worst shape I have ever played here before and I used to play here 5 times a year when I started golfing 20 years ago. Always have been a great course to figure things out on your golf game. Hopefully they can bounce back next year because I won’t be returning anytime soon.
Needs service
There was no beverage cart running and only one location where water is offered. No ball washing possible and playing on such a hot day at least more water stations could make the round better
Great Staff
After years of playing this course, I have never encountered one unpleasant staff member. Fun course to practice your game. Greens are slow and several bumpy; however, with all the heat this summer, in good condition.
Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear you enjoy the course and our staff. We appreciate your note about the greens and will continue to work on improvements. Your support means a lot to us, and we look forward to seeing you on the course again!
For Practicing your driver straight only
Think about it. You can drive a ball as far as you can on a majority and as long as you hit it far enough your risk is hitting a ball off the fairway of another hole 75yds to the pin. Just pitch and put. Slow bumpy greens.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts. We appreciate your feedback on the course conditions and will take it into consideration as we strive to enhance the experience for all our golfers. Your insights help us improve, so we hope to see you again soon!
12 holes in 4 hours
Place sucked, got through the first hole and then saw 4 groups backed up waiting to play the second hole.

Great course, but be mindful of other golfers on other holes hitting into your fairway. Great pace of play on a Saturday!!

Simple but fun
Good pace of play (teed off shortly after 7am), straightforward course layout, greens in good condition. Good course for a mid to high handicapper. I'll be adding this course to my playing rotation.
