Bellewstown Golf Club

Bellewstown is a well set out course with some lovely holes. The fairways could do with some more drainage but they are still at an acceptable level. Although the greens play great and consistent the grass/ground looks diseased. Let’s hope they clear up after the winter. I’d recommend Bellewstown to any handicap golfer.

I booked this game today in the morning thru golfnow apps. I thought that will be nice time on this course but when i came here around 11 am person in which gave me card didn't say much about condition on the course. So basicly first 9 i didnt even finish. I gave up with game after 6 holes. You couldnt walk normal on fairways. The trolley stucked a few times in clay and moody ground cross the fairways. I undertsatnd the period of the year and i play on different courses but this its so poor than my recommendation is be far from here. I dont understand if this person is so greedy for money but he saw me in the car park after 1,5 hr when i come back. Didn't event talk to me. Didn't ask me how was ewth the game and why i finished so early.

I’ve played this course twice now. The first time was dry conditions, the second was wet and muddy. Regardless, this is overall, a challenging course any day of the week, specifically the front 9. Great bang for buck also, specifically with Hot Deals. Staff very are friendly. Looking forward to playing it again!

When I started the round I thought I was in for a tough trek, but the the design cleverly took me to the top of the hill and let me work my eay down. Enjoyable course

The first 3 holes are steadily uphill but after that the course layout is much more amenable. The 9 & 18 are also uphill toward the clubhouse and are challenging. Despite the 1 hour delay for 3 torrential thundershowers I really enjoyed my round and the course dealt admirably with the really heavy rain. Greens are fast.

This is a great course to play. Recommend use buggy.

Greens were in very good condition. Fairways cut nice & tight. Fabulous views from the top end (Front Nine) of the course. Good value for money & a good test for the average golfer.

Course was virtually unplayable and swampy in parts. Buggies were not allowed on course I could understand why, but it was so bad I wish I never played, you wouldn't put pigs on that course, it should've been closed for a few days to be fair. The tee boxes and greens looked neglected and work needs to be done

Flies on course a nightmare only played 8 holes shame because nice course otherwise nice course

The first two holes are up a hill and the next 5 traverse the landscape. 8 goes down and 9 goes back up again! The back is more forgiving where 10 and 11 go down and 12-17 traverse the landscape with 18 a killer up hill! The course is enjoyable to play.

My Son and I booked this at the last minute. I had played it once before a few years ago but had forgotten how good it is. Some great holes here, the long par 3 8th and the 17th are a real test. Well worth a visit.

great course . some really good par 3s . only down side is the hills!!! you will need a buggy .a must!
