Good place for beginners not wanting to drop $$$
Place is pretty good! Course isn’t very challenging so it’s more or less for the beginners but I do love the occasional round here! Will recommend,
Marshall
We are just back to golf after the lockdown. There was never anyone waiting behind our 4 some but still had the obligatory talk from Marshall to catch up to party ahead. Unnecessary. I recommend we go easy on the players this early into the season

Can't say enough about the friendly staff. Just amazing
With first timers on the 9 hole
Enjoyable course but unhappy with the marshaling. Tee'd off 5 min before our scheduled time and before we were in the fairway the next golfers were teeing up. Shortly thereafter the marshal told us to let the people play through. With two first timers playing, I was happy to oblige. However, asking us at the start of the 2nd hole was unacceptable - particularly when we ended up waiting to tee off for the remainder of the day because the person we let play through was held up in front of us.
Under normal playing circumstances this would be annoying, but under covid19 golf at a city run course, this is unacceptable.
A solid day
great course, great people, great weather. Id go back.
nice course
great 9 hole course got a hole in one on the 6th so that made my day nice layout not to far from green to next tee ( not like the 18 long walks between) would definitely play here again
My daughter, who is just learning the game, and myself joined up with two older gentlemen at Doon golf course and had an enjoyable time. They were very positive and gave words of encouragement to my daughter,on her play.We had a great time and a very enjoyable day.
Nice Nine
Very Windy this day but had a good round. Good layout but wish there were 2 par 5's. Good course and good value if you want a quick round of golf.
Great 9 hole course
Always fun playing this 9. Sunday afternoon, great pace, and the course is in good shape.
Nice little 9. Was disappointed that I had to pay for my 5 year old to hit around a tennis ball on a few holes.
