Great little golfing gem
I have played this course twice in the last few weeks. Course is in great shape, the staff is warm and friendly. Definitely a great golfing value!
This course used to serve as the Monday qualifier for the Zurich. The conditions were pristine years ago with firm, fast, and true greens. Now they are slow and “spongy” which was shocking and disappointing. The cart paths were redone and resemble Roman roads; truly impressive but a waste of money on things that golfers don’t care about. Bunkers are overgrown and unkept. LaTour has a unique linksy feel to it and is exposed to wind which defends the layout. Otherwise a fun scorer’s course. There was no restaurant for food as well. New ownership bought a gem and has sadly begun to neglect it. It’s still a good golf course but needs to restore bunkers and greens to previous standards.
Great course
Great course worth the money friendly staff! And the girl in the clubhouse is pretty nice on the eyes. I should’ve got her information to take her out on a date!
First time playing here in years.
Course played great until rain soaked everything, and even then we were able to finish our round with relative ease. Course was super busy, so pace of play suffered but it wasn’t horrible. All in all, course is in great shape, staff was friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend.
Amazing drainage
Amazing course conditions for receiving 7” rain over the past two days. The bunkers or really just waste areas as there has been no work to refill them. Still the course was well maintained and enjoyed the round
Worth the drive
Excellent condition
A few of the bunkers we played as waste areas because of conditions
Great condition
Wish there was a Marshall there. A group in front of us would not let us play through even though they were not great players. No etiquette at all. Conditions were great and hot deal price was awesome. There’s a solid food truck there too.
Course in nice shape
Greens were a good pace, fairways were nice. Will be back. Food truck had good food.
Enjoyable round
Pace of play was good and course is in pretty good shape. A few greens are somewhat spotty, some dead areas but for the most part they were fine. Wish they hadn’t let some of the bunkers go back to being grass, the sand was easier to hit out of. Fairways are perfect! Food trailer at the turn has some good stuff, the gourmet hot dog deal was on point!
Worth the drive from NOLA!
This great course is always in good condition and has come back well from Ida. It has a great layout, with challenging and fun holes. Friendly fairways and staff. The Greenskeeper asked for feedback and wass a great dude as well.
I'll be back
Mystic Creek Experience Stay & Play Package
Soft greens were do to the 10 inches of rain the course absorb, during week, course was to wet to properly maintain, for a few days, the crew has done an amazing job, getting the track back in order.
