Great course
I love everything about this course except for the bathroom opportunities while on the course
Deceptively difficult
Don't let the lack of big trees fool ya.
Between the water and course topography, you could have a very long day if you are not in the fairway. My irons were a bit off on the day I played so I paid for that.
The only complaint with the course is that the bunkers could use some work.
Otherwise, it's a great track.
Great Course - Play It
Course was in good condition, although the overnight rain puddled many of the bunkers. Greens were smooth & true.. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Great course overall
Great greens, Great layout, a few mickey mouse holes but overall worth it. Course always has wind so if you're looking to tune up for the British Open this is your course.
PS: Course needs yardage markers or carts with GPS. In all carts

Latour was great!
Everything about the course and facilities themselves were absolutely amazing, one of the best course around New Orleans area. Pace of play was not the greatest, group ahead of us held up three groups behind them. All four were on a par 5 waiting at one point.

Don't miss it
Great layout, excellent greens, big open sky, and nice area to drive to/through.
The term “hidden gem” is thrown around way too often when describing golf courses, however I can’t think of a better way to describe this place. I don’t have one single complaint after playing here almost a dozen times. Within a 60 mile radius of New Orleans only Carter Plantation gives the course a run for its money in terms of overall value and its not even close.

This is a great place and always in great condition, but there was 3 inches of rain the night before and cart pthbonly

So golf is dying in Houma so not many places to play.
Thankfully Latour has great rates at certain times.
Without this course, we’d be in trouble around the area.
Latour is always in great shape
Best course around and better than your exclusive high priced private courses.
