Foxwood Golf Club - White Course

I didnt play golf for almost 4 years and this is my 2nd time after the weather is permitted. The course itself is awesome as the condition was to me a prefect one when compare to the one I visited last time.

Since I am a below average player, I found some holes were little challenging.

One beautiful thing happened was I met Gus Maue (I think I spell that right) CPGA who was the last owner of this course. He is a super nice guy and told me some good stories between us.

We got to play thru twice by considerate 4-somes twice, so the round went smooth. It's a nice layout but a few blind 2nd shots, which makes it interesting

this was the first time using Golf Now.

it works very well.

I said it was the first time, but I haven't played it in 8 yrs so it was LIKE the first time. Slope of 117 on RED to BLUE playing off the SILVER tees. Has some challenges but overall it was very nice.

broke 80 for my first time this year....I now love Foxwood. I always enjoy playing there.

Played the Blue to White 9's. Course condition was fine considering the tough winter it had to weather. Some patchy spots on the fairways and greens, as would be expected.

Pro shop sign in was quick and easy. Had our bags on a cart and to the practice green within 5 minutes of showing up.

Finished 18 in about 4:10. Good pace.

Would and will return.

The only negative thing about this course is that they aren't 100% set up with golf now cause they tried to charge me for a cart when it was included in the package

The golfing was fine and was what I expected to fine after some heavy rain. The only problem was that I had paid to ride and when I got to the course I was informed that there were no carts allowed on the course and that GolfNow was notified in the morning of that condition. I have leg problems and wanted to play so I walked the course. I got through it but I was quite tired at the end. The manager was gracious and I got a coupon for a cart for next time. I am disappointed that GolfNow didn't inform me of the situation before I paid for the round.

Will accept it is early season and bad winter

We played the red and blue. It`s a pretty little course we have great fun.

we did not know what to expect, but were very impressed with this course. early in the year, but in very good shape. green were true and with not too much winter kill. great layout.

It was in good shape for October. green were still soft, fairways were good tee blocks a little rough (but its Oct). A little slow but all in all a nice course and will play it again.

I arrived early for my tee time only to be told of a 2 hour frost delay. Being a single player they told me they would do their best to get me on but they couldn't promise me anything. That had me starting to worry but within 20 mins of my scheduled tee time I was paired up with a threesome & the round went ahead. Despite all the bad weather & parts of the course being flooded the previous weekend the course staff had done a great job to get the course fit for play with only a couple of holes still affected. Course is tight & accuracy off the tee is at a premium since the rough was long & juicy. Greens were outstanding. A course to replay for sure.
