The Golf Club At Fossil Creek

The scorecard has 5 different distances listed for each hole. The course only has 3 distance markers - blue, white and red. There are no distance markets embedded in the ground at the tee boxes. Cannot tell what the distances are when teeing off.

I am not one to write review, but feel an obligation to warn fellow golfers about this course. The course itself was not in that bad of shape, but when the bunkers have not been raked in weeks, it’s bad. In addition to that, they have those rental carts that carry 4 people (2 in front and 2 in back) they provide. We were stuck with one of those and it was LOUD. In addition to that none of their carts have GPS and with no information on the card about the course you are left to your own devices to figure out yardage. It was our first time playing there so thank goodness we were paired with members. The staff are a bunch of kids that really don’t give a flip about providing any kind of service or attempt to make you feel welcome. Course is WAY over priced for what you get, so save your money and go elsewhere. There are MUCH better courses in the area that are less expensive and provide better service and a better goofing experience!

Course is in good shape, greens are a little beat up, but the grass is green and the fairways and roughs are well maintained.

This course refused to let me play as a single golfer, even tho I have played single numerous times. I paid to play as a single, notating only 1 golfer at time of my registry and at a time that would allow, course "security guy" was ridiculously rude and unwilling to listen to anything I was telling him. Will not ever play here again nor recommend this course to anyone. Worst golfing etiquette I have ever experienced in my 10 years of golfing

fairways and greens had lots of damage, no marshals to keep play moving. No mix to repair divots, bunkers were horrible poorly maintained course. No rest room facilities until 16th hole.

I understand the Covid situation, but this is ridiculous. Nowhere near worth $75.00 PER ROUND. Sorry not impressed.

Top 2 public course in FW. Layout is fantastic. Greens a little bumpy. Course drained well with amount of rain lately.

Course is in very good condition May 5th 2020. Fairways are plush. Rough trimmed well enough. Greens have some browning but roll true. Played under covid conditions. Each player in the 4 some had their own cart. No access to grill but cart girl came around at least 3 times during our 18.

The staff was super friendly! Course was in great shape. The cart girls came around often to quench our thirsts. Looking forward to the grill reopening.

Even during these challenging times, we still finished our round in four hours (with a foursome). Their site claims that they will not group you with someone that you don't know, but, they're no longer following that rule, as my buddy and I were paired up with two guys we didn't know. We didn't mind, just letting everyone know that they don't do this. Course is in great shape with the exception of the sand traps, which we didn't play from (no rakes makes rough traps).

Great great great condition !!! Amazing. Greens could be best in metroplex if people would just fix their ball marks! That’s not on the course though. Keep up the great work Fossil C

This is in really good shape considering the pandemic restrictions. I can’t wait to get back out.
