Good fun at a good price
Played this course as a last minute option with little availability elsewhere. Ended up having a great time. Staff was quite friendly. Course was backed up quite a bit but we saw 10th was open and they allowed us to play the back to start.
I would recommend this course to new golfers and weekend golfers who want to get out without breaking the bank.
good beginner course
played here several times this year as i am new player, its good to learn on,has many long holes 300yds + and nice short holes. would recommend to any beginner players and intermediate. has few lakes and nice looking course. good deal for 18 holes.
Layout Nightmare
The first 5 holes zig zag back and forth, so you are hitting toward people teeing off, and them you. too close, so you are constantly hitting on to their fairway with a light splice.
getting to the tee off, you have to cut across the middle of other fairways. hope you dont get hit.
ground is hard but well kept. greens are decent
Great for the price
A good little course if you’re new to golf or just looking for an extremely casual time. Inexpensive, forgiving hole layouts, and friendly staff.
Over booking
Note, I have played this course over a dozen times this year, and value for money for a round, it scores well. As the summer progressed, the course becomes extremely hard and needs more watering on the fairways. Greens are very good. Tee boxes are poor. All these prior points, and the fact it is a forgiving and primarily well laid out, I’ve enjoyed and gotten value for money. However, the over booking and lack of control (allowing walk ins at any time) resulted in a scenario of having 4 to 5 groups waiting to tee off at the first hole. We had booked for a 3:30 tee time (thru Golf Now) and did not tee off for 50 minutes. (Even pre COVID this is not acceptable) We scraped getting in 16 holes in 4 1/2 hrs before the sun set. Usually, you could play this round in 3 hours walking. The owners need to show more discipline (and not just let locals, friends play as they will) ... and Golf Now should not allow their site to make bookings for tee times that can not be honoured, even closely. Our first three holes took over 55 minutes to play, after our delayed 45 minute tee off.
Nice course, but overbooked
I enjoy this course. Good value for the money. But even for a Saturday, it was way overbooked and a very slow pace.
Good Starter Course
I tool my daughter who just started playing...she had a lot of fun. It's not overly difficult so it was a good course for a new player.
