Hy Hope Golf Course

I really enjoyed my round. the course is kept in excellent shape . Had some challenging holes to keep it interesting for more experienced golfers. will definitely will golf here again.

Would go more often if price of cart for single rider was not so expensive $31

My second time playing this course, the first being over 10 years ago. It's maintained very well and the pro shop staff were great to deal with. The maintenance crew however, kept driving in the way of our game (it was not a busy day). Not a big issue, usually just meant waiting a few seconds. One crew member mowed over my ball as we were approaching the rough where it had landed. My big complaint happened on the 17th hole. My friend duffed a shot, cursed, and threw his club down, not ideal behavior but there was nobody around to make uncomfortable and nothing was damaged. He then composed himself. Then a maintenance crew member came out from behind some bushes, dressed him down using terms like "tantrum" and "childish", and kicked us both off the course. My friend kept his composure, acknowledged his mistake and asked to finish the last 1.5 holes for my sake if he promised his best behavior. The answer was no, with some more berating about his behavior. This was a power trip, nothing else. The pro shop staff informed us that this is the superintendent, apologized on his behalf, and asked us to still consider the course for future. Although we kept it amicable, I won't be returning due to the superintendent and his team.

Visited Hy-Hope on a rainy day, but the experience was delightful. The course wasn’t crowded, probably because of the weather, which allowed for a peaceful round of golf. Most of the holes are under 180 yards, making it perfect for a quick game - or challenging in terms of precision and control.

As I reach the last few holes, I really enjoyed it while taking in the stunning cityview from the highlands.

Plus, home-cooked real food is served here. Pies are delicious. Don’t skip it.

My friends and I had an amazing time at this course however, it was quite difficult to play in some bunkers as they were infested with wasps

Other than that a great day ..

Thiis course is a shorter version of a full size modern course. The condition and layout are very good with orchards and rows of farm vegetation mixed everywhere. Hy-Hope is very challenging with some holes and greens downright tricky. The overall aesthetic is very appealing.and the location in ski hill country provided a good 3 hour walking workout. This course surpassed my expectations for the price and the friendliness. The fruit stand and bbq are a fun bonus.

it was bad time to play because all the staff maintained the courses and there were some noise but they stopped and kept quiet when we enjoyed the game and we totally understood what they were doing for the courses

and we got fresh vegetables and bread after the game

What a great and fun golf course to play! Super cheap, open to juniors and beginners, well conditioned with fun and interesting holes. The course is short and relatively open which makes it great for beginners, yet has incredibly difficult and complex greens which is awesome for advanced players to work on their chipping and putting.

Highly recommended!

Fun to play with friends or older family. Short course with live music and farmers market for afterwards.
