Tempest Golf Club

I play this course 4-8 times a year and it is always in awesome condition. Staff is awesome and cart girls are there when you need them! Can’t wait to play again!

Great views and hilly, but they have so much slant that is difficult to grow grass in those areas.

Worth the experience, but not pristine condition due to reason above and drought conditions. Greens were good.

Beautiful course, but it’s not for me. Only 5 holes I could hit driver. Lots of holes where you could hit driver if not for fairways narrowing or bending to much at driver distance. If length is your strength, this is not the course you’re looking for..

One of the best tracks in East Texas. A must play. Don’t expect to get out an earlier than 7am when the pro shop opens though.

Go play it! You won't be disappointed. Great layout. Greens were in excellent condition. Friendly staff.

Got a great deal on golf now for $55. Worth every penny. Staff was friendly minus the guy running the pro shop.

Course design was very nice, but overall conditions were moderate at best. Many fairways were basically hardpan, and the greens were AWFUL. They rolled at Maybe a 7, which is just not acceptable for any decent course. I slammed one going downhill, and it still came up short.... Worst part about the day was that it was 95 degrees (yes, I remember we are in Texas) and about 80% humidity, and they allowed the cart girl to bail after the morning session. POOR management. I may go back in the fall, but only if it's just me. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Played here before. Made a recent reservation two months in advance for four foursomes all coming in from out of town. Was notified 10 days prior to our mini tournament that there was a conflict and they would need to cancel on us. Pretty unapologetic. Pretty poor customer service.

Cautious about ever playing there again because I can’t trust the reservation would be honored. Yes, I’m a little bitter by being stung on this one.

I was recommended this place twice in one week at my place of work. Everyone told me it was a hidden gem. They were absolutely correct. Course was well managed. Excellent fairways with even better greens. Would recommend this to anybody who is looking for a fun but challenging course to play.
