Better 1st time

Second time to play this course. Both sand bottles where empty in the cart so unable to fill diviot. Pace of play was very slow even after joining with a threesome had to wait for every tee shot ad approach. Two college golf players behind us would be waiting at the tee with us many times. Fairways were eroded in places and grass was scarce. Greens were ok but a little slow. Not the same course I played last time. Very challenging especially at 4.5 hour pace😩

Great views and hilly, but they have so much slant that is difficult to grow grass in those areas.

Beautiful course, but it’s not for me. Only 5 holes I could hit driver. Lots of holes where you could hit driver if not for fairways narrowing or bending to much at driver distance. If length is your strength, this is not the course you’re looking for..

One of the best tracks in East Texas. A must play. Don’t expect to get out an earlier than 7am when the pro shop opens though.
