Tempest Golf Club

World-class golf course that is nice. Was super busy. Didn’t get a cart with GPS but is in good shape. Place of Play is terrible. 4 plus hours is a little long but it’s worth the wait if you have a 4-some.

Perfect day for golf, was a little slow pace, mostly due to the large group in front of us, but course was nice and well maintained. Had fun

I live in Tarrant County and have played many courses in Texas from public to private and I must say that Tempest Golf Club is by far the BEST Course I've played in Texas! Great Layout, Great Greens, Great Staff and just an overall Great Experience!!! A must play.

Course improves each time I play. Greens are in great shape. Very much enjoyed it

First time playing here and drove in from Fort Worth. The course layout is very fun and challenging. Lots of really good risk and reward shots, the course is gorgeous. There were a couple tee boxes that need some love and some areas around a few greens that were very barren.

Our biggest complaint was pace of play. It was a busy day, which I understand we won’t be playing in 3 hours, but the group in front of us held up at least 6 groups multiple times throughout the day, played with no urgency or self-awareness. The course said there was nothing they could do at the turn.

Needs a marshal, other than that it’s a great track and worth a trip from the metroplex

Very slow play. Maybe it’s not like this every time as this was my first time playing this course. The Course is challenging, and extremely fun to play.

This is a hidden gem!!!! Loved the course layout and the scenery was awesome!!!!

Great course , excellent conditions. The proshop and bar are perfect. Glad it’s open to the public

Tempest is a great course and definitely worth a place to play in East Texas

There’s a lot more courses out there that are better for a lot less money. Way over priced

Great course, great condition.

Left my range finder in the cart, when I called to tell the pro shop I was told that It was never found.

My fault for leaving it, but I wish whoever found would have done the right thing.

Guess I will be more careful next time. I was just expecting more from their cartbarn staff.

I do not have any ill will towards any level of golfer but having to wait in 100 degree weather for two guys to take 6 minutes every hole to go 150 yards was unbearable. I am sure like everywhere else that don’t have the staff, but if you charge like you do then provide it.
