Fantastic course, staff, and amenities

Our organization hosted a golf tournament at Tempest Golf Club and our experience was remarkable. Randy and his staff were absolutely wonderful to work with and had the course in amazing condition as well as all the amenities that go with such an event. We had 35 teams play in a 4-person scramble and everything was seamless. The meal following the tournament was outstanding as well. I cannot compliment the staff and the course enough! Fantastic experience!

Country Club Attitude gets old

Arrived one hour prior to tee time. No available carts. Told to check back in approx. 30 minutes Groups backed up due to a college team event. Communicating we might be delayed teeing off. Poor planning on the courses part. The sad part is management sat in his office and seemed to not care.

We were shuttled to the range and then someone came to the range within approx. ten minutes communicating we would have to go off the back nine immediately or be delayed. Had to find a ride to get a cart, basically just take a cart because we were being rushed, No warmup. Just go play. Played the back nine without issue. Once we got to the front nine there was two groups waiting on most tee boxes. Turned into a five plus hour round. Unfortunately, this has happened in the past but not like this though.

Course conditions could be better.

This being labeled as the nicest golf course in east Texas was disappointing. Design is awesome and challenging. Condition of the fairways and greens don’t justify. Staff was awesome. Course amenities were great. Tee boxes were well taken care of.

Beautiful Layout

Loved the giant flag and beautiful layout, and the course played very challenging, especially with high winds,. First time to play and i definitely want to return and play again when the course greens up. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only negative that I forgot to mention to them when we finished is that parking break on the cart I had didn't hold very well. Good practice area. Will return!
