Good conditions. Just slow pace
Course was in good shape. Had a tournament going and the pace was really slow. A couple greens had some wash out spots. But overall not bad
Course conditions could be better.
This being labeled as the nicest golf course in east Texas was disappointing. Design is awesome and challenging. Condition of the fairways and greens don’t justify. Staff was awesome. Course amenities were great. Tee boxes were well taken care of.
This is one of the nicest courses in East Texas
This course is just as nice and any public or private course in the ETX area. One of my favorites.
Beautiful Layout
Loved the giant flag and beautiful layout, and the course played very challenging, especially with high winds,. First time to play and i definitely want to return and play again when the course greens up. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Only negative that I forgot to mention to them when we finished is that parking break on the cart I had didn't hold very well. Good practice area. Will return!

Great course in ETX
One of my favorites, with variable holes demanding length and/or accuracy are demanding on certain holes. Greens are always in great shape.
Play the correct tees that will make the course enjoyable (ask the pro shop and they will advise).
Fabulous Redesign
Where do I start? I’ve played several different courses that are nice in Texas, but this is one of my favorite ones. I played the tips and felt that the features of the course really stood out there and it was beautiful! the greens could use a little love, but it’s bermuda in the prime of texas so they were still in solid shape. the overall layout is fabulous!! The pace of play was reasonable considering it was the first nice day in a while! all-in-all, i would love to come back out here and play again!
#3 Challenge
This course is a great challenge, hidden greens, on some holes, dogleg , of course. Long par three, if you are up for, depending on the tee box location.
Will play here again.
A real East Texas gem
If you're anywhere near Gladewater, check this course out. It's a great value and a terrific design by Jeff Brauer, who redid the original course into this championship layout. With plenty of elevation change, water features and excellent conditions, every hole here is good to great. Lots of tees means it's playable for everyone. Really nice golf shop with good values, plus the restaurant/bar in the clubhouse as well as outside seating make for a great place to hang out after your round.
