Nice Laid-Back Course
Took a trip out to Burning Tree for some father's day golf. It was super hot but we still enjoyed ourselves. Pace of play was good for the weather and how busy it was. I hadn't been to this course in a while, but it was better than I remembered. Clubhouse wasn't crazy far from anywhere on the 9-hole course which was nice for using the restroom. A/C was pumping in there. I didn't notice any food service, but they had a good variety of drinks to purchase. I would play here again!
Great day had by all!
My boys and I had a great time playing on Fathers Day. The pace was slow but we had a very nice outing. We'll be back for sure.
Nice, Smaller Course
I hadn’t been here in a few years, but I had a fun round with some family for Father’s Day. The clubhouse was air conditioned which was nice because it was super hot outside when we played. Course was only 9 holes, but we just played it twice. Good value for the money so I’m sure I’ll be back sometime soon.
Pretty rough 9 hole course - needs some work.
It looks like they are actively workin gin the course. Cart paths are dirt/gravel, lots of patchy spots on the fairways or even dirt/grass/weed mixes. It looks like the course got flooded and removed all the sand from the course as well. Golf carts were fine and staff was friendly.
It is only a 9 hole course, but for $30 you can play it twice with a cart.
Pretty Rough
Played Burning Tree for the first time. The course is still pretty rough and the grass hasn't greened up much. The had temporary tee boxes set up to protect the regular ones, but they were pretty much just dirt. It is a great course for beginners and those looking to play an easy round. For the money it wasn't bad
Good 9 hole course!
I’ve played this course plenty of times and it’s definitely a nice course to work on your game.
Easier course to play
The Leaves around trees made it a little bit hard to find the ball and mosquitoes were attacking but other than that it was a fun course to play. I’ll be playing there again but bringing bug spray.
Great experience
For the money and pace of play, we had a great time at the course. No frills, unpretentious golf perfect for inexperienced golfers. Super friendly GM Randy on site. Greens were excellent considering time of year and type of course. Do yourself a favor and play here for a reminder of what fun golf can be.
Good course for the money
The pace was super slow, the course allowed a 6-some in front of us which caused it. Other than that great course for the money!
Great place
Fun place to play, especially with kids or inexperienced golfers. I loved it and will be back!
Nice greens
The greens are getting better. The pace of play was terrible, but it’s a 9 hole course. I really like this place. Wish it was 18…
No Tee Times
I like a relaxed course, but if you don't have tee times, or control the rate of play, it's not worth someone traveling from out of town to play. It took me 90 minutes to play 4.5 holes. I have played here several times and Burning Tree is just too inconsistent and unapologetic to reccomend.
Tee time not honored due to they give no tee time starts. Just wait in line and get on when you can.
This is a practice course and no Marshall or tee times. It’s a joke if you think your not going to have people sliding in front of you and not playing multiple balls. Manager said they dont give T-times even though you book one on GOLFNOW!
