About
Legendary Oaks Golf Club is part of the Lawrence Marshall Family Recreation Center in Hempstead, about an hour northwest of Houston. Stretching to a lengthy 7,061 yards for the back tees, the course boasts several holes that long hitters will enjoy. The layout's par 3s are known to be particularly challenging. The golf course will put your distance to the test but you'll find that accuracy is also needed when negotiating the tighter spots on the course. Water hazards come into play frequently throughout the golf course and there are also many strategically placed bunkers and mature trees to watch out for. Legendary Oaks Golf Club's final hole is a par 4 that demands a tee shot over water while a large willow tree guards the left side and a bunker protects the right. The challenges continue on the uphill second shot.

Good practice course for the price. Greens are not in the best of shape. Sand traps are muddy. Fairways are in decent shape. Took over 4 hours to play due to slow play. Some golfers playing 2 or more balls. Over all a good improvement since last played.
Course was absolutely garbage. Greens were horrible. First time in 6 years playing there and won’t be back. Played the front nine and left didn’t even finish
Course Has Improved
It had been awhile since I had okayed here, the area has grown, the course is great for the money, still needs work, but if you’re a duffer like me and returning to the links after a long layoff this is the place to play.
Has Potential
Challenging layout but conditions are a little below expectations. Good value
Still fun
Course needs a bit of love but it’s still a fun course without breaking the bank. I do feel the green fees are a tad high but hopefully the course gets better during the Spring. Staff is awesome!
Beautiful Day for Golf
Course was in good condition and a beautiful dat for golf.
Not so Legendary
Realizing this is winter time I still think this course could be in much better condition.
$53 is too much for this course in the shape it was in. Tee boxes no grass, greens with dead patches.
Would play again for a lower price.

Course is getting better, green actually has most of the grass back after few years of bad condition. still need a planty work to bring the course up to standards.
