About
Originally a 9-hole course, an additional nine holes were added in 1993, making this a very challenging 18-hole layout with a few monster holes from the back tees (6,721 yards). The course features wide, tree-lined fairways and small greens, as well as water that comes into play on almost half of the holes.
One local told us that short-iron play was important; however, that’s hard to imagine considering the length of some of the holes. Three holes stand out from the tips: Two par 5s play 600 yards or better (No. 11 is 643 yards), and No. 3, a 247-yard par 3. The rest of the layout is of a more reasonable length, particularly from the middle tees, where there are a few short par 5s under 500 yards as well as par 4s around the 300-yard range.
Getting there : From Houston, take Hwy. 290 west and turn right on FM 577. Turn right on Hwy. 105. The course is located 2.5 miles away on the left-hand side of the road.

Nice course, good condition. Fee to play was a little high. Clubhouse good and staff very friendly.
Good course for the price.
This course may seem expensive at first but it’s a 30 minute drive from College Station and is superior public course in the area in my opinion. I recommend this place.
Summer conditions
Course is in great shape. Staff are so helpful and repairs to club house completed. Greens are fast and true. Gather your friends for a great day.
It’s golf if you need it
Course had just come off aerification last week but I won’t penalize for that since I'm in the golf business and recognize it’s standard procedure for that. Houston area had gotten a bunch of rain so it was the closest course not on cart paths only. I booked my time I arrived and was charged $76 for green fee, cart and small range balls. The layout is awful though there were a few signs telling you where to go. Fairways were very uneven, not mowed and they were not part of what was aerified (just greens and a few tee boxes) Pace was good played thru 2-3 groups obviously members with their own personal carts and finished in just over 3 hours. The gas rental carts have definitely seen better days. The course is the only thing there but realistically it’s equal to Legendary Oaks in Hempstead and that’s a low step. Forget beverage carts they don’t exist. Definitely no amenities.

It’s going through few repairs and was soft and muddy in some areas due to last rain
Overall it is a decent course, some team played very slow no marshal petrol the course
