Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Pines Course
About
The Pines Course is one of three nine-hole courses at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood. The Links and the Ridge are the other two. The courses can be played individually or as three different 18-hole combinations. The Pines Course is named after the mature, tree-covered landscape. It and the Ridge Course make up the original layout at Eagle Ridge G.C. They were built over a sand and gravel quarry that was used to help build the Garden State Parkway in the late 40s. The unique and undulating topography is a result of this. The towering pinelands lend a sheltered feel to the course as well as a challenging element to the game. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play along the greensides.

Wow
A very tough course. Conditions were perfect. Very tight fairways. Greens rolled true. A lot of fun. A real challenge. . Much harder than BallyOwen.
Not worth money
Worst driving range of courses $75+.
Saw 3 rangers yet group in front of us had 3 open holes.
Greens in good shape.
Carts new and outstanding.
3 9’s with limited signs nor help at turn.
Mostly place for 20-35 year olds to drink heavily, smoke cigars and yell all over course with constant F-bombs.
Plenty of other courses better at half the price.
Spectacular Day
Course is in excellent condition. Excellent pace of play—3 hour 30 minute round.

Slooooooow play
Nice course and layout. Driving range is showing its age. New carts and great staff. We left after 13 holes because we had already been out there for 4 hours and couldn’t take it any longer.
It's a Must
Do not miss this course when in the area.
It's a real shore course, beautiful scene, real greens and bunkers. She's as tough as she is good looking.
Excellent conditions, excellent pace, excellent value
My foursome was looking forward to playing here for the first time and it was worth the wait. The course was in excellent condition. The bunkers were being raked as we played, we were the first tee time, there wasn’t any rakes to fix any play out of them but at least you had a chance of a good lie in them. The greens were fast with subtle breaks from the grain rather than the larger breaks that looked like was in them. The fairways were lush and the rough was thick.
This is one of the best public courses I have played and it may be the best public course in New Jersey! Amazing layout. Immaculate condition, extremely friendly staff, and three very different sets of 9 holes to choose from.
I played shortly after COVID19 restrictions began to be lifted and my foursome had zero issues. At the time, we paid $75 each for 18 and carts, which is pretty expensive, but this price only seems to be so high because of high demand and/or the need to make up for COVID19 lost business compared to their advertised prices last year. Luckily, the course was very impressive, so we did not regret paying the high price. I will be back!
Beautiful, challenging track
Eagle Ridge is in excellent shape. A fantastic 27 hole course with 3 different 9 hole layouts. One of the best semi-private courses I’ve ever played.
Golf
Great course. Friendly helpful staff. I wish I played better
Challenging course
Beautiful course in great condition. Pretty challenging layout. A total pleasure to play.
Nice Day
Course was outstanding Wish we knew there would be more than twosomes booked Foursomes were allowed which have no problem with but when booked was told no more than two at a time.
Eagle ridge
Course has always been in awesome shape. Greens are running perfect Only gripe is the amount of rocks in bunkers on the Links course.
Eagle Ridge Round
Played 18 holes today. Friendly and very professional staff. Course in great condition.. Great service given very challenging times. The starter accommodated me with no time to wait. First time for me but definitely will be back.
