Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Pines Course
About
The Pines Course is one of three nine-hole courses at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood. The Links and the Ridge are the other two. The courses can be played individually or as three different 18-hole combinations. The Pines Course is named after the mature, tree-covered landscape. It and the Ridge Course make up the original layout at Eagle Ridge G.C. They were built over a sand and gravel quarry that was used to help build the Garden State Parkway in the late 40s. The unique and undulating topography is a result of this. The towering pinelands lend a sheltered feel to the course as well as a challenging element to the game. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play along the greensides.

Great venue
Very nice course... for the price obtained on Golf Now a real bargain... in great shape & a really fun time
you should NOT offer times when there is a tournament on the course, as it is a 7 hour round of golf and impossible to move. such is what happened to me and i walked off after 9.
Too much walking
This course has a lot of unnecessary walking in my opinion.
There are many places where you are not allowed to take the cart off the path. In most there is no reason for it, even if they allowed you to ride along the rough fringe areas, it would speed up the game and make it more enjoyable.
Even once you get to the green on many holes the cart is far away
nice
when i can get on for 48.00 golf now.
.what a treat...excellent staff very friendly to us..not members. greens were rolled nice fairway nice..loved the design...go there an enjoy..i play twice a week all over
nice place while it lasts
eagle ridge is a very beautiful, well-kept course down by the Jersey shore. it is tight and does not offer too many opportunities to just flail away. not very long especially the par 3's. greens with many swales and subtle breaks.
but the course has been sold to a group which would like to turn at least part of the 27 holes into housing. they don't have approval yet and may not get it for awhile but if you want to play this neat little layout you had better not delay.
Very Fun Course
Was very fun, other than a few elderly people rushing me along I had a fantastic time
Golfing 1026
As always I play here it's an awesome course, links course is great , would like to play the other two next time, staff is the best there is I beleive Mike was behind the counter and was awesom. As are the guys out side , truly great place to play looking forward to playing it this Wednesday, thank you
I will play here again
This was my first time playing here. I was coming from Philadelphia, so it was a far ride but worth the trip. I liked the layout and the course conditions were very good. Next time I will play from the Blue tees, the white tees are too short. Staff was great too.
Great course
Play it while you can I heard the properties been sold
Amazing course
Absolutely beautiful, challenging and everything I want in a course. Great condition. Only thing is the starters?caddies? Are really unfriendly when you're playing later in the day...
Disrespectful GM and staff
Let me start by saying I have played this course numerous times and thought the foursome with my friends, this would be a great choice. The course was in good condition even after a massive rainstorm the night before. Unfortunately the staff, including the head pro and General manager Allen DePuy made the day horrendous. Arriving to the course, two of my friends and myself were greeeted appropriately and clubs placed on a cart so we could go to the range, unfortunately the last member of our group arrived shortly after us and had his clubs placed on a cart only to be taken by a staff member leaving our fourth player clubless. He attempted to talk to the head pro who did not care at all and told us she'd attempt to contact the staff member with the clubs (what's shocking to me is how did the staff member in a cart with the clubs not see or hear clubs were in his possession). My friend was frustrated and called me to assist, so the rest of our group on the range left to search for the clubs and me to speak with the head pro who didn't care and made it feel like the lost clubs were our fault. Luckily a long while, later the staff member came back dropped the clubs and didn't apologize, the result no range time for my partner without his clubs and barely any range time for the rest of our group. Even worse, we missed our tee time and we're sandwiched in a women's golf outing, with the starter being upset we missed our tee time. I attempted to talk with GM Allen DePuy who commended his staff and again making it feel like we were to blame. Mr. DePuy clearly does not care about the patrons of his course and should not be in a customer service position. Furthermore the head pro's actions also show she does not care about the customer experience especially when the aforementioned problem was caused by a member of their own staff. The round was miserable and not worth the full rate especially when were treated like miscretants at a semiprivate golf course. Again nice course, but Allen DePuy and his band of uncaring staff clearly show the customer doesn't matter.
Beautiful views, great layout
Huge course, absolutely stunning layout. Every hole is spectacular and challenging. Only thing I didn't like was the starter kids telling me carts back by 8... started at 440 and got a beer half way and he told me again. Coulda payed almost $60 to play 20 minutes earlier and would have been ticked if he said that to me. Doesn't get dark til nearly 845. Just felt rushed especially with a fair amount of golfers out after 4. Would go back though.

Fun play. We play Eagle Ridge every year when staying in Lavalette beach and always enjoy the course. Also got a great price on golf now.
