Eagle Ridge Golf Club - Pines Course
About
The Pines Course is one of three nine-hole courses at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Lakewood. The Links and the Ridge are the other two. The courses can be played individually or as three different 18-hole combinations. The Pines Course is named after the mature, tree-covered landscape. It and the Ridge Course make up the original layout at Eagle Ridge G.C. They were built over a sand and gravel quarry that was used to help build the Garden State Parkway in the late 40s. The unique and undulating topography is a result of this. The towering pinelands lend a sheltered feel to the course as well as a challenging element to the game. There are also strategically placed bunkers that come into play along the greensides.

Not bad
It ok. It was pretty good. Not too bad. I'd play there again. It was not great. Not horrible.
Ridge to Pine
Teed off early - good
Pace of play - good
Conditions - average, off fairway hits could be anything from heavy rough to hardpan, with some weeds too.
Restuarant, closed on Mondays
Not Worth the Money
Course in decent condition. Greens fairly good. The value is poor, though, and there are better, more reasonably priced option.
The approach of the on-course staff, mostly young guys, leaves a lot to be desired.
wonderful day
golf course was in great condition (best conditioned course i"ve played all summer) . was paired with two fine gentlemen and had great day.
Ocean County golf
Might be the best public access course in all of Ocean County.
Eagle Ridge - Beautiful Course
The course is gorgeous. No two holes were the same in any way. Very nice layout and I would definitely recommend playing this course.
Nice course. Burnt tee boxes
Nice day on pines and links. Tee boxes need some water and TLC. fairways are great. Greens were decent. People need to learn how to repair a ball mark though. Overall a great place to play with a golfnow deal time.
Monday's
First time ever playing this course. The greens were in excellent shape and priced fairly. The only thing that i wasn't aware of is the driving range was closed on Monday's. We got there an hour early to warm up etc... To make matter worst was they closed early that day for a company function. So when my group finished up the front 9 we expected to grab a hot dog and a cold beverage only to be told they are closed. It would have been OK had they told us this at the time of booking or paying for the round.
Go Play It
Wonderful golf course with 27 holes, many with beautiful views from elevated tees. Fairways are generous. Good overall conditions. Excellent practice facilities, beautiful club house. Staff was friendly and helpful. Nothing not to like about this course. Highly recommended.
Great value
$63 for 18 holes at this course is a steal. Doesnt get much better for a puplic course in this area. Challenging enough with the design without being frustrating. Love playing here.
Better options nearby
Was expecting a little more from this course for the price. Tee boxes basically sand boxes, dry fairways and damp greens. Have played nicer courses in better shape for half the price. Played Ridge and Links, nothing remarkable on either. Nice staff and facilities. Challenging holes but repetitive. No rush to return here.
Great course
Excellent conditions very challenging course but worth it because of how well kept everything was and how friendly the staff was.
Perfect day in the links
The staff was friendly and courteous. Course was in excellent condition. More people need to fix their ball marks. Great value on a hot deal.
Pricey but worth it
Very well maintained and challenging. The rough if at all wet is tough. Nice combination of elevated tee boxes and Overall a very scenic course. Played he Lynx 9 as well. Very different for the shore area. Overall a really nice experience. I personally wouldn't play a weekend win the rates creeping up towards 100 but for 60-70 weekday and less crowds well worth it.
Awesome!
I had heard Eagle Ridge was a difficult course but this is one of the most challenging courses I have played in NJ (in a good way). Each shot had to be thought out and the greens were very challenging! I will recommend this course to anyone and look forward to playing the "Links 9" next time. One of the best experiences golfing!
Golf
Course is in great shape. To bad my game wasn't . Will be back soon.
Beautiful course!
A friend and I were in the area book a tee time on golf now with no prior knowledge of this course. Was absolutely worth every dollar. Played with an older couple who were members and helped us with the lay of the course. Definitely would suggest anyone to play here if in area.
The staff runs this course well
Good course, well run. Maintenance was watering the greens right behind us...thank you!
A challenging but playable course
The fairway aeration is healing and the fairways are in very good condition despite the lack of rain. The greens are excellent and require good putting skills to eliminate those nasty 3-putts. I'll be back.
Eagle Ridge
Hands down one of the best Maintained Public Courses Available in the Area. Very Nice Greens considering the terrible winter and time of season (Mid May).
