Jersey Meadow Golf Course
About
Once home to one of the world's largest herds of Jersey dairy cattle, the site is now the Jersey Meadow Golf Course. The course has evolved and changed dramatically over the years, including a major renovation in 2004 that replaced all the greens with Bermuda grass. The layout is routed through groves of mature oaks, providing a secluded feel to most of the holes. The golf course has a classic design that is still a fair test even by modern standards. Water comes into play throughout in the form of ponds, lakes, and winding creeks that weave through the holes. The 14th is a particularly memorable water hole with a creek all along the left side leading to the island green. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and the greens have subtle but tricky contours.

Good golf for a good price
Nice time to have with a good group of friends needing to grab a spot with little time to book.
Very slow play due to course - would be 5 hrs+ to complete the round
Okay course but the pack in the groups. We started at 9:30 and finished hole at 12:30. They have lots of beginners here. We don’t have 5+ hours to finish ar ound, so we went to get a rain check since they do not have a Marshall try to keep up with play pace. The kid behind the registers says they are ahead of pace play by 5 minutes. Do the math again buddy. 2 hr 50 mins for Front nine and 10 mins for hole 10+. Had to wait in every hole. Management really needs to add 5 more minutes of separation between groups for like 15-20 mins. They apparently know the times based on cart number and time but they don’t care if it take 5+ hrs to finish which is rediculous.
Great course to pop in and play
Great pace of play during the middle the week. Greens were in fantastic shape, especially for late January.
Staff very friendly. Very affordable rate. Would recommend.
Typical Winter Condition
Jersey Meadows is a challenging course even if it is flat. Lay out makes scoring tough. Most greens are in great condition considering the time of year. Fairways all have grass but the sand traps are too wet. Only the top inch of sand is dry which leads to bad sand shots.
Overall, this is a fun, challenging course with fair pricing for the area. Weekdays the average round is 4 hrs or less.
Won’t be back
Save yourself the headache and go elsewhere. Course personnel were disrespectful and treated the patrons as if they were a burden to the course and it's employees. Would not golf here again if someone paid me to.
Nice course
I like what did with the course, I had a good time even though my score card doesn’t reflect it, the wind on the back 9 was brutal
Good for the price
Really like the course, hopefully they can get to put some money into keeping it better shape. Pace of play is painfully slow.
For future reference
I have played here before and enjoyed the course but this time was really unpleasant. This course apparently doesn’t drain so if it has rained within the last 5 days I will not play here.
It rained 2 nights ago and there was standing water all over the course. Fairways were unplayable in large areas of puddles.
When it’s dry this is not a bad course but there was nothing on the website to warn us and the guy in the clubhouse didn’t say anything about it when we checked in.
