About
Once home to one of the world's largest herds of Jersey dairy cattle, the site is now the Jersey Meadow Golf Course. The course has evolved and changed dramatically over the years, including a major renovation in 2004 that replaced all the greens with Bermuda grass. The layout is routed through groves of mature oaks, providing a secluded feel to most of the holes. The golf course has a classic design that is still a fair test even by modern standards. Water comes into play throughout in the form of ponds, lakes, and winding creeks that weave through the holes. The 14th is a particularly memorable water hole with a creek all along the left side leading to the island green. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and the greens have subtle but tricky contours.

Swamp
I played the course 2 days after some decent rain fell in the area and I was surprised how much water was still on the course. It was CPO and most fairways we're indeed, still soggy with many having big puddles of water. The areas off some of the fairways looked like swamps.
The greens are also in rough shape with most having some level of dirt patches on them.
Good value
The casual water can make this track a real ball buster. Plenty of length but picking your shots is more important.
Currently the course conditions are not great, greens have some issues. Seems like they are being addressed well and causing very limited disruption to play.
Poor drainage
Overall the course isn’t bad. The greens are very slow and in need of some work.
The drainage for the course is terrible which also leads to slow pace of play due to cart path only.
Be prepared to wait, if cart path only you should consider other options.
Greens have sand traps
Course was on the west side due to rains. However, multiple greens contained blades spots with sand layered. I would have asked for a refund had I not booked through Golfnow
Course is in good condition
The course is in overall good condition. Some sand patches around the green but that's about it. All staff very very friendly. The marshall does a good job keeping pace

Course was in good shape and pace of okay was excellent Early in the morning!
Jersey Meadows
The greens are in terrible shape! Fairways rock hard. Always hate the GPS on the carts stopping you from driving places that there is no actual reason they are wet or some other reason you shouldn't drive there.
