Jersey Meadow Golf Course
About
Once home to one of the world's largest herds of Jersey dairy cattle, the site is now the Jersey Meadow Golf Course. The course has evolved and changed dramatically over the years, including a major renovation in 2004 that replaced all the greens with Bermuda grass. The layout is routed through groves of mature oaks, providing a secluded feel to most of the holes. The golf course has a classic design that is still a fair test even by modern standards. Water comes into play throughout in the form of ponds, lakes, and winding creeks that weave through the holes. The 14th is a particularly memorable water hole with a creek all along the left side leading to the island green. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and the greens have subtle but tricky contours.

Fun course
I've played here for years lots of changes. Getting used to the change but over had a great time and it is challenging.
Pathetic
We left after 9 holes. Pace of play was brutal. Inside they couldn’t take cards because they didn’t know how to work the system. To start the round the starter screamed we were too slow because we wouldn’t hit into the group in front of us (maybe 200 yards in front of us in the fairway). Absolute waste of time and money playing here, don’t waste either.
Round @ Jersey Meadows
Pace was good, Weather was hot and windy, so made for interesting club selections. Course has been undergoing some renovation in the layout. Greens were a bit on the slow side, so hard to gauge what speed to roll the putts at.
Brutal pace and conditions
Pace of play is horrendous. They let out 5s randomly and it clogs the pace. Conditions still suck, every green has large dead patches. Waste of time and money. I’d just rather not play
Nice course
I love the carts with the GPS screens, that helps alot! This is a busy course, the few times I went, so the pace can be pushed at a faster pace at times, but not too bad. The guys in the shop are cool.
improving conditions
The overall condition of the course is good, although the fairways are starting to dry out without any recent rain. The greens are in good condition a,though shightly shaggy. we had to adjust our putting strokes.
you have to play strategically to avoid water and sand.
Improvements are noticeable
This course has seen its ups and downs over the last few years, but the improvements they’ve been making are really paying off. The fairways are pretty pure with minimal rough spots. And the greens, while a bit furry today, are showing great signs of growth and some small patches are healing up nicely. For the price, it’s a great course right now and only getting better
Nice course but the Greens upkeep could be better.
Greens were slow on most holes and inconsistent on others due to grass length. Hope they get it back to where it was before.
Over all course has been improved but things need to normalize and mature.
Makeover is improvement
The course design doesn't rank very high but they've put together a fine municipal course that allows locals to get in a little outdoor activity, enjoy comradery, and improve their golfing skills at a reasonable rate. Thanks to Jersey Village for all the improvements. It makes one feel they actually care.
Not worth it
Haven’t played this course in several years, love some of the updates they’ve done. Course management is a joke no Marshalls, twosomes wouldn’t pair up in front of us we were a foursome. Call the clubhouse to see if we could do something about it no one ever came out. Call the general manager after my round to ask for half my money back as $55 is way too much for this course no one has called me back. I would never go back to this course on a weekend. If the course was $30 would consider it but not worth the money or time!
