Jersey Meadow Golf Course
About
Once home to one of the world's largest herds of Jersey dairy cattle, the site is now the Jersey Meadow Golf Course. The course has evolved and changed dramatically over the years, including a major renovation in 2004 that replaced all the greens with Bermuda grass. The layout is routed through groves of mature oaks, providing a secluded feel to most of the holes. The golf course has a classic design that is still a fair test even by modern standards. Water comes into play throughout in the form of ponds, lakes, and winding creeks that weave through the holes. The 14th is a particularly memorable water hole with a creek all along the left side leading to the island green. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and the greens have subtle but tricky contours.

Under construction all summer
Unfortunate to not know until starting that the course is under significant construction which will last the whole summer. May return next year.
First Time Playing
Course has potential but misses the mark. Cost, Playability are the highs but greens is disrepair, holes under construction dampen the course will wait till August/September before a return visit
Course under extensive renovation. Holes 5 & 6 are not being played, which we found out when we checked in. Extensive freeze damage to several greens, but no discount on green fees. Won’t play here again until late summer in hopes course will be playable.
Course is terrible
Two holes were “shut down” and we were not allowed to play them due to the course being under severe construction. Additionally, a par 5 was converted to a 100 yard par three, so effectively, we lost the ability to play three holes. Also, the greens were atrocious... they were unputtable. There was no information on GolfNow about the course conditions, and the staff at the golf course did not mention anything about the course conditions.
Absolute rip-off.
Not great bob
Under construction. Cart path only. Greens were terrible. Maybe in a year or so I would try it again
Construction Golf
Since I booked this through Golf Now, I was disappointed that I wasn’t told that the overhaul of the course was underway.
It’s 15 holes due to construction on the course.
3 holes are unplayable. Most of the tee boxes are under repair and the greens are bumpier than a teenagers face.
This was disappointing because I’ve played it for years and current value isn’t worth it.
42.00 dollars for 15 holes and being charged for a bucket with the construction going on is bad PR.
The course will be unplayable through the summer, so look elsewhere.
DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE
DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE!!! The course is under construction with many holes closed or shortened to crappy par 3s. When I made the reservation over the phone they did not mention any of these issues, they simply stayed quiet and took the money. Very dishonest way to do business. I will never play this course again. We used to play once every 2 months there, but we will never go back. The guy at the register got mad when we raised the issue with him. Greens are terrible also
DO NOT PLAY THIS COURSE!!!
Deceptive Course Description
Course fairways are generally in good shape. All greens need some conditioning. Only cart path slows the pace down...doesn’t seem like this rule is needed for majority of holes.
GolfNow course course description does not mention that two holes are under construction and a couple other holes have been reduced in length and are now par 3s rather than par 4s. So you play 16 holes on a much yardage shorten course
I think I’ll wait to come back until construction is completed.
Under Construction
Fun little course that is easy for the bogey golfer.
THE GOOD:
-Very easy Course.
-GPS on every cart.
-Beverage cart came around.
THE BAD:
-Only play 16 holes until renovations are done.
-EXPENSIVE bucket of balls ($6.50 for 40 balls)
-Cheap fees due to construction so there are some SLOW and new golfers who have no clue about proper pace.
-Greens are hot garbage. Once I hit the green, I tried one putt, then picked up my ball. Never charged myself more than 2 putts per hole.
-A couple of the holes are too close for comfort to houses.
Looking forward to when construction is complete.
Getting better all the time!
I like a course that tries to improve, it takes effort and knowledge. I saw maintenance being done on at least half the holes. I wasn't thrilled when the pro shop told me that hole 5&6 are not playable, but I can appreciate them making a tough call to protect their investment. Greens are 6.5/10. Practice areas are 8/10. Staff was friendly and professional. I like this place.
Cart with GPS, love it
The course fairway are nice. The green are in bad shape (needs a lots of attention). The staffs are friendly and $25 green fee, I can't complain too much. I will golf there again
Worst course I have ever played via TeeOff/GN
The course has a very poor greens, ie all greens. The even cut short 2 holes, and wouldn’t allow you to make up for it after 16 holes. Although under $30 per person, it’s not worthwhile compared to other courses. I will not come back again!!!
Has Potential
I honestly believe this course has the potential to be a good place to play. Unfortunately, at the moment the greens are not good. They are littered with weeds & bare patches.
I am looking forward to trying the course again when the fairways are green & the greens are clean.
Meh
Course was ok. Greens were downright awful and some hole were under construction. It’s a pretty course w a pretty good layout. Once construction is done and they get control of their greens it’s should be a solid course to play.
