Jersey Meadow Golf Course
About
Once home to one of the world's largest herds of Jersey dairy cattle, the site is now the Jersey Meadow Golf Course. The course has evolved and changed dramatically over the years, including a major renovation in 2004 that replaced all the greens with Bermuda grass. The layout is routed through groves of mature oaks, providing a secluded feel to most of the holes. The golf course has a classic design that is still a fair test even by modern standards. Water comes into play throughout in the form of ponds, lakes, and winding creeks that weave through the holes. The 14th is a particularly memorable water hole with a creek all along the left side leading to the island green. The fairways are tightly lined with trees and the greens have subtle but tricky contours.

Construction
Would have been nice to know that we were only playing 17 holes and that two others were modified due to construction. Still not sure how I’m going to enter that into my GHIN.
Good local golf course
Greens need work but overall course in good condition. Good value for the $$$
Jersey meadow
Normally this is an amazing course for the value but due to construction and the conditions of the greens I wouldn’t recommend.
Once both are addressed I’ll play here
Brooks Villarreal
Great course, very fun and challenging. Green condition has seen much better days
Greens sucked
Your ball was on a roller coaster while trying to putt. Sand was very nice
Course under repair
Greens are in bad shape probably due to the February freeze. Fairways were recently aerated. Course currently has a par 3 closed while a bridge is replaced and drainage is improved. Par 4 5th hole now plays as a par 3 and the par 5 7th hole played as a par 4 today. All while the course is charging the regular green fee.
Not a good value or a good experience today.
Under major maintenance
3 holes either playing shorter or non playable due to maintenance, definitely not worth paying full price at this time.
Greens need work
I think a lot of courses are still recovering from the freeze that happened in February. The greens are in pretty rough shape and definitely need work.
Cart Issue
The Spanish Manager in the pro shop who wears the Titleist hat told me the next time I come and know the person I’m playing with I have to Pay for a seperate cart if I knew the person. I said i I only Book a Tee time if the Carts included as the Golf Now app said it was. He said he dIdn’t care what deal I had with GOLF NOW. I won’t BOOK AGAIN
The greens
Understand we had a cold spell a while back. So the greens are very bumpy no putt will go straight. Hopefully they will improve. That is really my only issue with my round today. Thank you
The course was a lot of fun and the g..p.s. in carts was awesome! Would come back for sure especialy if i catch a deal on golf now . Came a little early on my tee time but lady at front desk and martial were way cool letting me go ahead and play as it looked like it was about to rain. The only issue i had and i say that lightly as it wasnt a huge deal, was after my round i went to club house as i saw numerous drivers that i assumed were for sale. Three young men that were working didnt greet or say hello. Wish they would have come over so at least i could have asked a couple questions . Other then that i would go back asap!
CART ISSUE
Man in the pro shop wearing a Titleist hat told me next time I have to pay for a cart because I know the guy I’m playing with. I told him I only choose on the GN APP a cart included deal. He stated he doesn’t care what deal I have with the GN APP next time he will charge me. I was also wearing my Air Force Veteran Hat. I saw many people riding alone and talking to each other obviously they know each other. I won’t go there again and other veterans beware. The greens just suck. GN apps navigation is always wrong. It says 9 miles when it’s 25. Not going near that course again
Crabgrass Greens
Crabgrass infested greens made it difficult to putt. They did have a starter getting everyone going but it was still a 4.5hr round. The carts have gps to keep people on pace. Power lines run across multiple holes. Sand traps looked nice and redone. Dirt in multiple fairways.,
Spring 2021 the course is in bad shape
I played here yesterday for the first time ever and only picked it because of the decently high rating on Golfnow. I was very disappointed with the condition of the course. The greens have small weed patches growing all over and are in generally bad shape. You can hit your ball in the middle of the fairway only to walk up to it and find it in the middle of a large dirt patch that's like hitting off of concrete. I only paid $29 (twilight round), so I wasn't out too much, but I'd gladly pay $10-15 more for a course that's in better shape. And some of the other courses around town in a similar price range (southwyk, clear creek, quail valley, gus wortham) are in much better shape.
I won't be coming back here for a long time until they fix it back up.
