Gteat Natural Setting
For $25 for 18 holes and cart, this was great value for the money. Very friendly staff. Not a busy day so play was quick but very relaxed. Some tight holes and lots of water call for some strategic play, especially on the north nine. Overall course in good condition. Greens excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.
Great course conditions on new 9
This course has matured and finally this is the first year when the new 9 is in good conditon.
The course was very challenging with water on 13 holes and the rough now has grass so you don't have to clean and place in the rough.
Sand traps were needing a lot of work today.
They should lengthen no 9 on the new 9 to make it a par 5(need one more) and they have the room to do it easily.
The new 9 has landscaping work to do in non golf areas but they are doing that as they get to it which is fine as it doesn't affect play.
Enjoyable course to challenge you.
Screaming value, very nice course
Never played here before but was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the course, the greens were excellent.
Course is a little narrow but is not a knock against it as it keeps things challenging and interesting.
Well placed hazards and obstacles make you re-think driver off more than a few tee boxes and force you to lay up or take a different approach.
Playing from the blue 6100yd tees was a tad short, the golds were not set up on the day I played but it didn't really hamper my enjoyment of the course.
I play many different courses within the GTA, some costing 4X as much so I was really pleased with the overall experience at under $50/pp, will definitely be back.
Nice fairways, greens, staff
Nice fairways, greens. Gotta stay outta they rough or uve lost ur ball. Can't really fully drive on the course, fairways restrict it a bit. Beautiful course though and really friendly staff.
Bit of a Hidden Gem
First time playing and didn't know what to expect as heard they had financial difficulties in past. Greens and tees in great shape and appeared to get over rough winter past. Traps need some work. Some interesting holes and water comes into play on a lot of them. Thoroughly enjoyed the day and proshop staff were very friendly and courteous. Well worth the money and will play it again.
course has new 9 holes and with maturity will be great
I very much enjoyed playing this course. I look forward to playing it again very soon. Hopefully next spring will start my return to this course.
the old (original 9 holes) awesome and beautiful
the new 9 holes still need a lot of work- they do not compare in quality or difficulty with the old 9 holes- its like playing 2 different courses which can be good- I was a member for 4 years when it was a 9 hole course- the people who run the course are excellent and helpful- they treat golf now customers better than some other courses- they give u a nice cart and quickly send u on your way if the course is open- the new holes have improved greatly over last year- its a pretty view and a nice walk - some easy pars and good looks at Birdies- fun for the 80 + golfer-
Lots of trouble & beautiful greens
This is a pretty course that requires you to choose your clubs wisely. There is a lot of trouble to get into - tends to favour an accurate ball vs a long one. The greens are always well maintained and quick. The clubhouse staff are very friendly and the food is good.
not every >12 capper should play the blue, i can drive it straight 300-315 90% of the time, but i struglle with putting and thats were my higher handicap comes from
