Great greens. Challenging fairways with lots of water
Only one problem
Middle of day and workers cutting grass and repairing sand traps and not getting out of the way for players holding up play for general maintenance. Rude
Whitetail
The day was cold and the person I was playing with had a rough go of it. The foresome in front of us were very slow and we had to wait for them at every hole. There was a problem with flooding on the day we were there, not normal for this course. There were a lot of trees damaged by beavers and I think the flooding was caused by a beaver dam bursting.
First time this year
The course was in very good condition being early in the year. No problem regarding the on-line booking. Just showed up gave my name and I was handed a key for the cart and wished a great round.
Well Worth the Drive
This is a challenging course and has many tee boxes depending on your skill level. It really makes you think because there are plenty of water hazards, so hitting the Fairways can keep your score from skyrocketing.
The fairways and Greens were in great shape for this early in the season.
challenging and interesting
it was mid October so weather was overcast, windy and cold but course was still in good shape. pars are long pars but not difficult if you stay in the fairway. There are lots of hazards to watch out for that makes this course challenging,
scenic and challenging
course twists threw trees and swamps. you need to think your way around , we went from the golds and they provided a nice challenge
Sunny Sept. Paridise
course is in excellent shape . Maintance staff were getting ready for Mens night , so we had to play around them for 3 or 4 holes . but they were very friendly .
Great Greens
This is great value for the condition of the course. The greens are outstanding and the challenge is very good. We played the blue tees and it is a very good test. I probably would pass on this course if there has been a lot of rain in the days prior as it is a very wet area. The pro shop people are excellent and over all we had an excellent day.
Overall challenging course, nice greens.
Good course for the money, vary challenging fairways. Well kept greens! Fairway need some work, but not bad.
Whitetail
Course was in great shape
Very tight fairways and unforgiving if you missed them
Lots of water and placed very strategically to catch a mishit
I really enjoyed this course
Nice track
Not a long course but challenging. Lots of water. Greens in great condition.
Wet and Dry
Conditions were great even after a rainy day it was nice and dry. Greens true and great condition. An enjoyable course. A nice mix of hole types.
good value
Great value for a good course. Bring bug spray to fend off the mosquitoes and deer flies.
Repairs needed
Sand traps need work. Probably due to amount of rain we've had.
Lots of water
This course is low lying and only had 9 holes open, the staff were very accommodating and we found the course in great shape and challenging, interesting but not so much that you could not enjoy the view, and surroundings. The layout is very good and you get the feeling you own the course. Overall a great experience, we will return once the rainy season is over.
Tricked up Short Track
Don't play Whitetail with great expectation. The course is short and the holes are basically straight up and down. They've added small ponds on every hole in an attempt to add to the difficulty, but if you can hit it at all straight the course can get boring. The greens are in very good condition, but not one green had any undulation, so again, boring.
Awesome Day
Amazing pace of play and excellent course conditions. Super friendly staff!
Very good value.
Course was in pretty good shape and the value can't be beat. With GolfNow we paid $40.00 each. how do you beat that. The only thing I would suggest is having a beverage cart out there for some hydration.
A nice change of pace
The course was quiet and we only waited briefly to tee off. we were only two so it was understandable. The staff were excellent. As first time golfers here we had to drive ahead to gain knowledge of hazards and lay of land. There is lots of water that can come onto play, which keeps the challenge up. We enjoyed our round and will play it again.
