Pinnacle Golf Club

About
Formerly known as Arrowhead Country Club, Pinnacle opened in 1970 as a 9-hole track nestled on the cozy banks of Cedar Creek Lake. Tough times descended and the course was shut down before reopening with an additional nine and new ownership in the 1980s.
Dallas’ eastward growth has turned many onto the pleasant, rural atmosphere at Pinnacle Golf Club. Every hole is lined with trees and, despite its short length, the course is particularly tough because of the numerous dogleg fairways. Not counting the par 3s, 11 of 14 holes have doglegs. Because of the trees it’s recommended that you leave the driver in the bag.
The toughest hole is No. 15, a par 5 that goes 511 yards and offers a testy risk-reward decision. With a good drive into the wide-open fairway, going for it in two is possible by cutting the lake on the left side of the fairway.
Getting there : From Hwy. 175 east, find the town of Eustace and turn right on Hwy. 316. Drive. Turn right on Hwy. 316 and drive 5.5 miles to Clear Creek Rd. Turn right again and follow the signs to the course.

Interesting & Fun Course
The course is short with trees lining most fairways; the greens are really fun with a lot of curvature and levels. Its a fun course if you cant hit it long. I saw tons of deer & the scenery is beautiful.
Best Overall Experience in 2025
I've played several courses this year all over Dallas!
Pinnacle was in unbelievable condition, the F&B was fantastic and the pace of play was great due to the number of players . I give this course a top 3 in North Texas easily .

Course Conditions
The course conditions were the best I've ever seen out there . Looks as good as any nice Club in Dallas
Keeps getting better
This course just keeps getting better every time I play it. You can tell they are putting lots of effort into making it a great experience. Friendly shop staff.
Narrow Course
Good course layout. It’s narrow with a lot of dog legs. Greens were the fastest we have played on in awhile. Had to quit our round due to weather. Enjoyed the 15 holes we go in.
Great Course
Members let us play thru, the Marshall kept pace moving
Not What I Expected…slightly disappointed.
Course was in good condition but the fairway was very narrow with trees. It was a somewhat difficult for me. I was disappointed with course because I thought it was a lake course with a view but it was nothing like that. Driving was too long from Dallas for similar courses near me. Playing there once is enough for me.
Great course and staff
This was my second time playing here. I really like the course and it is worth the drive from Dallas. Layout is challenging if you miss fairways. Lots of trees and narrow landing areas. We were warned by a women at the course the mosquitos were terrible. She was 100% right. Thankfully we had some bug spray or we would have left after the first 5 holes. Not sure why the maintenance crew could not work to alleviate all the standing water around the course. Especially near the cart paths. My biggest issue was we booked on GolfNow and got stuck in the middle of a Friday morning mixed league and then a second league right after us. The groups in front were fine. The ones behind us need to learn some etiquette. They were on our tails all day. And we are not slow golfers. They would drive up on us on the tee box when they could see we had no where to go. They would hit their tee shots near us. We played blue tees and they were playing gold. I felt rushed to play all day. We always eat at the. Lib because the food is amazing and staff are great. I will continue to play here but may call ahead if looking to play on a Friday morning to make sure I don’t get lumped in with the crew of old folks that think they own the course.
