About
Formerly known as Arrowhead Country Club, Pinnacle opened in 1970 as a 9-hole track nestled on the cozy banks of Cedar Creek Lake. Tough times descended and the course was shut down before reopening with an additional nine and new ownership in the 1980s.
Dallas’ eastward growth has turned many onto the pleasant, rural atmosphere at Pinnacle Golf Club. Every hole is lined with trees and, despite its short length, the course is particularly tough because of the numerous dogleg fairways. Not counting the par 3s, 11 of 14 holes have doglegs. Because of the trees it’s recommended that you leave the driver in the bag.
The toughest hole is No. 15, a par 5 that goes 511 yards and offers a testy risk-reward decision. With a good drive into the wide-open fairway, going for it in two is possible by cutting the lake on the left side of the fairway.
Getting there : From Hwy. 175 east, find the town of Eustace and turn right on Hwy. 316. Drive. Turn right on Hwy. 316 and drive 5.5 miles to Clear Creek Rd. Turn right again and follow the signs to the course.

Golfer Reviews
Great Place
Really nice course especially for the money. It’s in great condition despite recent triple digit heat. The clubhouse is undergoing an extensive renovation so we didn’t get a chance to have lunch this time out. Burgers last time were good!
Worst Customer service ever
It’s amazing how one bad hire can sink a business! Bonnie has single handly ruined Pinnacle club! If you’re looking to be treated like crap go ask for Bonnie! I will NEVER be back!! Would rather play at a goat farm than go here again!
Poor customer service in proshop.
Lady in proshop was RUDE in greeting, scolded me for being early. Made me pick myvrange balls off the floor. Not good!
Customer service
Been golfing at Pinnacle over 25 years! Went out yesterday at 12 and when I got there Bonnie told me I would need to ride with someone, which was not a problem at all! I asked Bonnie who I would be riding with. She couldn’t tell me what cart number, couldn’t tell me what he was wearing. So I had to go to the putting green and start interviewing people to find my cart. Well I couldn’t find anyone matching that description, so I walk all the way back to my car with my clubs in 116 degree heat index. Walk all the way back up to the club house and tell Bonnie I can’t find anyone matching her description. I told her it was too hot to be walking around trying to find this person who clearly wasn’t on the putting green, and simply asked if I could have my own cart because I was hot and tired from walking around in the heat looking for my cart rider. She told me no, her boss Tim lived on the second hole and couldn’t see two people in different carts! It was a Tuesday morning and there were 6 cars in the whole parking lot the course was dead a a door nail. Learn to read the room Bonnie. I understand on your busy days you need to double up! It was the slowest I’ve ever seen the course and to refuse me a cart after 25 years. I will never go back!
Amazing Course
I played pinnacle this weekend. I played it before I forgot how lovely this course is. Fairways are tight, shot shaping needs to be good. There are some holes where it’s a straight away but even then you miss by a little and you’re in the trees or in another fairway so it’s a good challenge and greens are in pristine condition. Tee boxes are in good condition. Definitely recommend playing this course.
Awesome course !
Amazing pace of play! Challenging course with fast greens! Love it
Course is in great shap
Course is really good at the start of July. Greens are slow but in great shape. I don’t think they mowed them the day I played.
Mister Golf
Always have a pleasant experience at Pinnacle. Staff is friendly and course is in good condition. I recommend it often and well worth the drive from Dallas.
Pinnacle Golf Club
Everything was very good and course was tough but fair.
Best Total Experience around
I've had the pleasure of playing many courses in the area and Pinnacles overall experience is by far the best. The course is great shape, the Proshop staff is always nice and friendly and the food is very consistent . The pace of play is always below 4:30 on busy weekends as well. This place should be rated one of the top 4 places to play when you take everything in consideration. !!
