About
Formerly known as Arrowhead Country Club, Pinnacle opened in 1970 as a 9-hole track nestled on the cozy banks of Cedar Creek Lake. Tough times descended and the course was shut down before reopening with an additional nine and new ownership in the 1980s.
Dallas’ eastward growth has turned many onto the pleasant, rural atmosphere at Pinnacle Golf Club. Every hole is lined with trees and, despite its short length, the course is particularly tough because of the numerous dogleg fairways. Not counting the par 3s, 11 of 14 holes have doglegs. Because of the trees it’s recommended that you leave the driver in the bag.
The toughest hole is No. 15, a par 5 that goes 511 yards and offers a testy risk-reward decision. With a good drive into the wide-open fairway, going for it in two is possible by cutting the lake on the left side of the fairway.
Getting there : From Hwy. 175 east, find the town of Eustace and turn right on Hwy. 316. Drive. Turn right on Hwy. 316 and drive 5.5 miles to Clear Creek Rd. Turn right again and follow the signs to the course.

Golfer Reviews
Had to stop after 9 because of rain, course too wet.
Kdad
Greens were in good shape as well as the fairways! Considering that it had just rained
Always love coming to Pinnacle! Great conditions and love the staff
Well kept course
Groundskeepers seem to be all about keeping the course playable and in good shape. A few tee boxes seemed to be missing watering, but other than that it was in very good shape. I enjoy playing there although it is 87 miles from my home. Golfnow let's me afford it as a retiree.
Wow factor location
This course is a little gem. Beautiful setting around a lake but with woodland set holes. Staff were very welcoming as were locals. Only slight disappointment was there were no water facilities on the course and non provided on the buggy on a record breaking 100 degrees heat of mid-May. Notwithstanding this the course was well kept and played nice with no hold ups.
Rain
Started raining on 5th hole, stopped then Started again on 12 th hole, made round different.
Fun course
At an almost perfect course the only thing and it’s almost not even worth mentioning however if I had to pick one thing about the course as of a negative it would probably be the direction from whole to whole meaning there’s a place where you have to travel a little wase to the next tee and it can be a little confusing. Nothing major it just seems like if I had to find any complaint it would be that. Again perfect course and lots of fun . Nothing really to improve. .
Pinnacle
The course is a bit challenging, with narrow fairways, but it is well-maintained and in good condition. I will definitely come back.
