Hidden Falls Golf Club
About
Hidden Falls Golf Club is a Leon Howard design that opened in 1974. The course cuts through a pecan grove on the front and what seems like an ocean of water on the back, creating two totally different golf experiences. Howard uncharacteristically left out water on the tight, pecan-lined front, with the wet stuff in play on only one hole. However this one pond plays a role in the best hole on the course, no. 4, which features a pond and waterfall in the landing area off the tee. No. 4 is rated as the most difficult. The more open back nine is dominated by water. No. 10 starts off with a drive of 200-yards-plus over the pond fronting the tee. A small creek comes into play on the next three holes, which lead you to the other signature hole, no. 14. Water lines the left side of the 14th, and the approach is over a small pond. If that's not enough, the final three holes all feature water in play off the tee.

Behind a 5 SOME….
I am pretty regular at Hidden Falls; 3-4 times a month, and enjoy the course, the staff, and overall atmosphere….
My last round though, I found myself waiting behind a 3-some, who was delayed by the 5-some in front on them on the front nine holes. Two of the 3-some didn’t continue on the back nine holes out of their frustration. The third gentlemen joined my and my guest on #10.
We found ourselves stuck behind this 5-some of, what appeared to be members with their own carts and taking their sweet time. They musta had money on the round, cause they were extremely deliberate on every shot and spent a lot of time on each putting green.
Thank God they quit after #16.
Best in town
If you’re looking for good condition course for a reason value this is the spot. Great practice area and tough enough to be challenging but not gonna be impossible. Really well maintained course.
Hidden Falls
Course was in good shape from tee box to green. The greens were a little “furry” during the morning making them slower than expected. It still a great time for all of us.
Fun, enjoyable course with a very polite staff
From the time we walked into the pro shop, everything was very good. This was our first time to Hidden Falls. The staff was very friendly, the layout of the course was good and fun, and the pace of play was very good. I give this course a 4.5 stars instead of a 5, only because I need to see how the fairways come out of the winter transition. We will definitely be back though!
one of my favorite in the area
The course is green when many others are brown and hard. This being said the greens for me are too slow. Very soft and receiving but always leaving putts short due to green conditions. The course at the time of this round was providing free range balls which was a nice amenity.
Disrespect
This course needs a Marshal to keep the members following rules. We don't drive our carts up beside the greens and we don't drive on the fairways on par 3's. When the signs say no carts beyond this point, that is what it means.
Incredible day!
What a wonderful golfing experience!
While having played numerous rounds at Hidden Falls, and my scores weren’t as low as I would have liked… it was awesome.
The course is in incredible condition, the staff friendly and professional as always, and the weather breathtaking!
So much so, that my buddy “Laddie” and I went another 18 holes after our first.
Thank you for all of your services and support in enabling me and so many others to add this experience to our golf journey….
Peace…….
Members?
We really enjoyed the day. Respecting the work and care they put into the course, we don't drive on Par 3 fairway. I guess members don't care. They drive right past the "No Carts Beyond This Point " They park right next to the greens, not just on par 3's. Golf course Marshall's are needed.
