About
Mesquite’s muni, located in the Duck Creek floodplain, was built in the 1960s by Leon Howard. Playing only 6,280 yards from the tips and void of bunkers, it makes for a fun day on the links. In fact, water comes into play only seven times–not as much as you might think for a floodplain course that has been ravaged by floods over the years.
The most challenging hole, No. 13, has water. It’s a 418-yard par 4 that doglegs right and features a tee shot over a creek, followed by a long approach to a tough, narrow green.

Getting there : From I-30 east, take Northwest Hwy. for .5 mile to North Hwy. 67 and the course.

Great value if using an app.
I was able to get 18 holes, 11:50 tee time with a cart for $25. The greens are great.
Great course better price
Played a full 18 holes for $22 and really enjoyed the course. Staff was extremely friendly and the range is grass so no mats which is how I prefer it. Will definitely be playing here couple times a month.
Great course as always
Course was in great shape considering they had a few pipes burst a couple days ago. The pace of play was absolutely horrible. I told the Marshall about the teams in front of me and they just shrugged shoulders and said they had plenty of time. Other than that, always great playing there
Need to play here
Even with all the heat and lack of rain this course is is in is as good of shape as any around.

Played 8/5. Greens are great. Course is in good condition. Best value for your money in DFW.
Great course for the money!
I was a little skeptical at first with the location and all but was pleasantly surprised. With the heat being what it has been the course was not near as scorched as some others in the area. The greens were in excellent shape and rolled well, very fast. The staff was friendly and helpful. I will definitely consider playing it again when I return to the area.
