Duck Creek Golf Course

The course is dry I know we had know rain but if the course is in bad shape lower the price. The price is if the course was in good shape. And the pace of play is slow. When we get rain the course will be fine

The course is ok but they went up on the price to play so it’s not worth the 50 bucks. It they would put a little work in on the course it could be a nice course. Overall I enjoyed playing here but unless they do some watering I doubt I’ll be back.

This course always plays slow, 3rd time we have played this course and it's always slow. Play lot of busier courses in dfw that pace is better. All marshalls are out and doesn't help

Very unprofessional management. Was in the third group off number 1…..made the turn and had 6 groups ahead of us on the back. Front nine was 90 minutes. Back nine was almost 3 hours!

I love duck creek but for the amount of crappy holes and fairways and amenities tee times should not be over 40 dollars after fees

Overall it was a great day of golf for the price. Some of the greens are a little rough. There is cold water set up all over the course for Thiirsty patrons. The pace was great. Course lay out is good! I’ll def play there again!

There were a couple of greens that still need a little work, but overall the course was not in bad condition. I have played on area courses that were more expensive and worse conditions. Good value and good layout.

Duck Creek for sure has some opportunities here and there on the course but it is such an awesome value. The staff is great, everyone is friendly from the front desk and manager to the starter and beverage cart. You hear from different folks negatives about the course but I’m not sure they’ve all played it in the last few years. For $50 on a Saturday morning it’s worth your time to check it out. Course has a great layout and many challenging holes. There are some areas of the course that are in need of help but I’m happy. Give it a try!

First time back in over 15 years. Course in better shape and the price was good on GolfNow app. Currently pro shop is a trailer. Not sure what their future plans are for that, but course was fine with some tough holes.

Was just looking to get out and play last minute. Nice layout and not much traffic. Hazards were fun, and environment was peaceful. Some greens were in bad shape, but for the price not really a big deal.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for golf. ⭐⭐⭐ for wildlife management. ⭐⭐ for architecture.

Duck Creek Golf Club is truly one of the most unique golf experiences in DFW. Following a clubhouse fire, they've boldly pioneered a new era of golf hospitality centered around what appears to be a construction trailer. It's less "country club" and more "emergency operations center," but somehow it works.

The driving range is excellent and gives you plenty of room to warm up before slicing your first tee shot into a different ZIP code. The mats, however, have reached the age where they should probably be considered historic landmarks and protected by the state.

The practice green is solid and rolls well, though it appears to be in a long-term negotiation with gravity, weather, and budget constraints. A little TLC would go a long way.

Now for the important part: the golf course itself.

The layout is fantastic. Whoever designed it clearly understood that golf should be challenging, enjoyable, and occasionally capable of crushing your spirit in creative ways. The fairways are consistently above average and in surprisingly good condition. Most of the greens are excellent as well, though a few have become active battlegrounds in what appears to be an ongoing territorial dispute between the grounds crew, geese, squirrels, and possibly a small mining company.

You'll occasionally encounter random holes in greens that seem less like course maintenance issues and more like evidence from a National Geographic documentary.

Despite all of that, Duck Creek remains one of my favorite courses in the area. The value is outstanding, the layout is memorable, and the conditions are generally far better than the price point suggests. If you're looking for marble floors, valet parking, and attendants handing out chilled towels, keep driving. If you're looking for a genuinely fun golf course where the clubhouse currently looks like it might issue building permits and the local wildlife has equal ownership rights to a few greens, you've found your place.

In summary: Come for the golf. Stay because a squirrel has declared the 14th green its sovereign territory and you're curious how the conflict ends.
