Nine Hole at Shary Municipal Golf Course

The layout is fun. Course conditions are not good. Greens are poor fairways and tee boxes are ok. Has potential to be a great course but it would require alot of work. Little to no signage makes it tough for a first timer at the course. No starter or course marshal made for a mess. Pace of play wasn't great but it was a Sunday so that's understandable. Overall it's an ok course and you get what you pay for.

Had problems with the carts...pace of play was slow and the greens were not very good. Nice layout and the staff was friendly and helpful

A positive is reasonably priced..

The pace of play was rather slow. We were behind two young golfers...the one was a new golfer which is ok everyone has to learn....but there was no one behind us for a while. They could have let us play thru but they did not. On one tee off...they hit and proceeded to drive over the next tee off box. They played 9 and then out of no where two more guys started playing with them on 10. They then left and the other two played on. We wait for them on every hole. After we finished 17 we could no see them on the 18 par three...we head to the 18 tee off and they came on the cart from down the street...saying they had to do to gas station. These two needed to learn some golf etiquette and a course marshal would in sure it/

Not a plush course, but it is Texas! It was a lovely afternoon out. I’m not sure why the hole #s aren’t up on the 18 holes (not sure about 19-27). Confusing on some of the holes. Some directional signage would be nice since it crosses a fairly busy street twice.

Pulled yo and was a little diaaapointed with the way course looked. Booked a tee time with cart included. And was told no carts available. Was told to wait around and one might come in. Waited an hour nothing. What a waste

Only worth it if you get the deal on golf now because of conditions and pace of play

So very disappointed that Mission city is letting this golf course get in horrible shape. The fairways are weedy, the greens have weeds in them as well as bare spots. This course gets a tremendous amount of play when the winter texans are down here, lots of revenue, so it should be in much better shape. Our city tax dollars don't seem to be spent here!

Good course for the money. A little wet after storm previous day. Crew did good job cleaning up

The staff is friendly .. the course is fun but the greens needs a little work and the fairways are to close to each other not to mention they always move the tee boxes around ..

Not a hole marker on the course greens were terrible

Shary golf course is losing its greens. We have played here several times this year but it seems the greens are getting worse each time we play. Sure hope they can get them back in shape before we get back next season. We are winter texans.
