Fun track
So, I booked this on the wrong day and showed up a whole day early! Funny when I showed up...we were trying to figure out why I wasn't coming up on their computer. I was immediately disappointed in GolfNow and assumed that they had let me down somehow. After we had figured out that I made an error in the date, they were gracious enough to let me tee off anyway! Friendly staff, very respectful and the course was in pretty good shape for this early in the season. I felt it was pretty wide open, with the exception of a couple of holes. I snap hooked 4 drives and didn't get penalized too severely. Overall, would recommend to anyone looking for a fun little course, cut out back in the forests of Stillwater. I had a 36 & 38 and would play this course again.
Great course for the money
I enjoyed playing at Loggers Trail. It is a fun course layout, greens are in good shape and were fairly fast, and the cost was fair for walking. Pace of play was good because people were playing the appropriate tees for their skill level. Tee it forward!
Solid course, well designed, challenging holes
Early in the season you can expect the course to have some issues but the greens were in mid season form which says a lot about the grounds crew. Pros; maintained bunkers, solid greens, and a mix of terrain and architecture. Cons; need to upgrade the beverage cart, and get that clubhouse built. I will continue to put loggers on the top of my list. The thing I like most is that you have options, it is not the same round every time you play it
Logger's Trail in April
Logger's Trail is always an enjoyable and challenging course to play, especially on a very windy and cool April day. Despite the late arriving spring, the course was in good shape - unlike my golf game. I consider Logger's Trail as an excellent value and a good test of golf. I also appreciate the two-for-ones beer special after a round. Nice way to cap a good day.
Fun, Challenging Course
The course was in surprisingly good condition for early April. The greens were smooth and fast. The fairways were decent, but I wish people would replace their divots, especially early in the season. I played in a threesome behind several foursomes and it seemed like the pace of play was a bit slow, but the round was just slightly over four hours. If you haven't played this course, you will find it fun and challenging.
Opening Day
For the 1st day open, this course was in great shape. Survived the winter in excellent condition. Only one temp green and once it dries out will be fine. I am planning on coming back in a month to play again to see how fast the greens really are. Great course!
fun course that was built into the woods near stillwater
Beautiful ScenerY And fuN Little Course.

Great golf course
I have played the course a couple times. It is a great course if you like to walk. The distances between the greens and tee boxes is very manageable. The course offers several tee boxes to choose from which is great if your group has different skill levels. I look forward to playing it again.
needs lots of attention
The T boxes were Ok for this time of the year but it is apparent the course has not been maintained very well over the past season. They aerated the entire course, fairways, tee boxes and greens several weeks ago and the conditions reflected that. Hopefully the next season will benefit from this and they can take some time to better maintain the course. I realize it is late in the season and not to expect pristine conditions however I recently played at Victory Links and you can definitely see the difference when a course is well maintained during the season vs. one that is not. Because I got a good deal through GolfNow the value was OK but if I had to pay their regular rate.... for me it would not work. I have played this course in years past and I remember the course was better maintained.
This course has nice greens
I played on a rainy day but the course was able to handle the wet conditions. Nice range of tee boxes for all levels of play.
Something for everyone!
This course has a great combination of links and parkland holes. A set of tees for any skill level. Greens were recently aerified so they were slower but still putted pretty true. A great day and a lot of fun!
Always good
I like Loggers Trail. I play from the back tees (7200 yards), so it's a beast but it doesn't have two holes alike. My only complaint is that they have three pre-cut holes and so each day they move the pin and keep the other two pre-cut holes capped with a green piece of cork. The actually holes are banged up and are anything but true, the lips of the cups are mangled to shreds. I really enjoy fresh cut cups and think it's a big deal. Overall, fun to play Loggers. If they stepped up the conditioning one more level, it would be awesome.
tough track
this course will let you know how good of a golfer you are, tight front 9 opens up on back
Worth playing a second time. Staff might have had a so so day.
Layout is very good. Holes are very poorly marked. When we played, most of the tee boxes had the tees removed and it was tough to find the tee.
Very poor signage from the main road. Holes are carved from Logs however, paint is very faded and hard to spot.
In current state, I would not make a long trip to play this course however to locals, it probably works just fine.
No frills, but great layout
Do not expect a great club house or wonderful restaurant, this course obviously focuses on what is important, golf course maintenance. The course is a great layout with something for everyone, novice to scratch. Fast, true, well maintained greens were a treat.
Worst shape I've seen it in
Great deal on golf now. Played in the afternoon and the greens were extremely bumpy. This nut job from the pro shop joined us and was throwing clubs, throwing balls, continually hit the cart with his clubs. Quite uncomfortable. Overall the course was not in as good of shape as usual.
Great deal through golfnow
Great course, challenging enough for all levels of player, while being a lot of fun.
Just fine
They course seemed in fine shape. Greens were well kept as well as the fairways. I just didn't thing it was anything to write home about.
