Good course, under maintenance but still very enjoyable to play
9 holes with the son
As always very welcoming, lots of banter in the club house , speed of play was great .

Good little 9 hole course
Apart from the rather dissapointing 1st, this is a great little 9 hoke course. All the greens- except the 1st, were in very good condition. Clearly money has been spent on this course and they are really trying to ensure the most important part of a golf course- the fairways and greens are kept in good condition.....except the 1st hole.....so I suppose I should say its a good little 8 hole course!!!
Good value for money and very friendly staff. Definately go back again.
First time at Boars Head
A really poor starting hole, 88 yards to a carved out green on the fairway of the 9th hole was a really disappointing start. Especially having read reviews that this was being improved last summer. I assume this hasn't happened. It felt like a new footgolf venue initially! Fortunately it did get better and the course was well kept, with some nice holes and driveable par 4's. The 9th is particularly a nice hole other than others on the 1st hole playing on to your 9th fairway at the same time. In hindsight paid £25 for 18 holes, which seems cheap, but looking back that is slightly overpriced. But the course is laid back and beginner friendly, just not for me.

A nice 9 hole course with welcoming members and staff.
For a beginner this is the perfect course and nice to see the course trying to improve its facilities
Great Course
Thoroughly enjoyed playing this course, lots of positives with this nine hole delight. Both the staff and members were very friendly and welcoming. My only problem was finding the entrance, as they are awaiting some new signage, if it helps you the entrance is very close to the Crowborough Rugby club. The postcode takes you to the Boars Head Pub a short distance away.
Progress
The course is being improved with investment from new owners. Expect better drainage, new tee boxes and importantly a new Hole No 1 which currently is a bit silly at about 85 yards
Relaxed Atmosphere and not too busy
Course was in good condition. Nice variation of holes but No 1 a bit of a key down. Very short
