Really bad conditions of the green
Its a great layout and Greens are in horrible shape. The putts move in all directions due to the weeds on the green .We all are busy professionals and play once a week and our Precious time was taken away and we would rather play some nice course even though paying more
Sherrill Park #2
Sherrill Park is currently open with some social distancing protocols in place. The clubhouse is current closed to the public (as of 4-21-2020) Tee times are currently pre-pay online. Its a fun layout with some narrow fairways, ample water hazards and a decent amount of bunkers. The only real issue currently are the greens. They have random grass patches on them, very bumpy and some parts are dead. I would play here again, but maybe wait a few weeks.
Tuff and very tight
The course is very tight with lots of water hazards - some of the fairways slant toward the water so you can hit the center and still end up in the water. Greens were very fast and nice so was surprised for this time of year.
one of the worst courses in richardson
greens and courses are not properly maintained. staffs are rude and not friendly.
Keep away from this course.
Fee
My Back was hurting after 7 holes. So I called for If I can get rain check for 9 holes and I was told it's the same fee for 9 or 18. So we left after nine. Does not reflect any courtesy . Their putting green's are not in good condition. Customer service is below standard.
A fun course to okay
I enjoyed the course it is open and has some challenging holes.
Terrible
DO NOT play this course!! The entire staff had a terrible attitude, and were aggressively rude. Golf should be fun. The staff here goes out of their way to make it miserable. For the record I am a good player, know all about course etiquette, and extensive knowledge of the golf industry. This was a horrible experience, and the course is mediocre, so all in all awful. Will never return.
great value trac.
Cart girl is hot, so to is the snackbar lady...oh, we also played some golf and came away quite happy...
Sherrill Park #2
Course was in great shape! Able to finish 18 holes in less than 4 hours!
Wanting more
Course was good. Challenging but in a good way. Staff needed to more friendly, in the pro shop. Felt as if they were doing me a favor, I pay my dues like everyone else. But overall happy with my golf day.
Great Course
Great course and excellent staffs. Will play again. Greens are great. A lot of people there when we play but still finish in 4 hours.
Great condition
Good course for the money. For summer in Texas the greens and fairways are in great condition.
This course is good
This is good course for the price.
Bur unfortunately, the spacing between the hole and the hole is too narrow.
Greens Need Major Work
The tee boxes and fairways are in great condition, but the green have way too much sand on them recently. Hopefully they get this figured out soon because it is way too hard to read any putts. Great value for the course though and challenging holes throughout.
No grass on Greens
Half of the surface area of the greens had dead or no grass.
Greens in bad shape
Probably the worst greens I've played on in years. The grass is still asleep from winter. Won't play here again until mid June. Fairways are in very nice shape however.
Pace of play & staff
The pace of play was bad. Because there's no marshall in site, and than you get paired with people that can't play the game.. The clubhouse staff very rude. Poor customer service over all, plus the is the worst.
Challenging and fun
Loved this course. Difficult, but the amount of short par 4's really makes it a smooth play. The greens were in a state of "transition" but for the money spent I'm just going to leave it at that. I found myself in a lot of sand, but mostly managed to avoid the water. Playing in 25-30mph winds also makes this course very interesting. Hit my first 320+yard drive thx to the plentiful tail wind.
good iron pratice
This is a short but challenging course, especially if windy. A great example of target golf.
