Lakes at Firewheel Golf Park

Great course, friendly staff, and good price. Two courses to choose from, and stay in good condition. Can get congested, but same as any other Dallas course.

We were a group of 4 with a beginner golfer only playing a few shots on each hole. The course has an excellent layout with some challenging holes that make you choose how much risk you want to take for the reward. I would definitley benefit from playing the course again now knowing when to risk it & when to play safe.

Pace of play was slow with a group in front of us really struggling with their game. Eventually the group immediately in front of us went through the slow group after 9 holes but we weren't so lucky & played the second nine very slowly waiting on most holes. There were no course marshalls to be seen until the last hole but by then it was too late. At least the weather was good & the course was challenging but a slow round of golf is always painful!

This place has HUGE practice facilities for range and chipping. Carts are very nice, staff friendly and helpful. Can't wait to come back and play the alternate course.

I golf all of the firewheel courses more than any other local courses. Price to condition is awesome. Layouts are good, and different levels of difficulty based on which course. I'm not a good golfer by any means, but I have fun on all 3 courses.

Course is in good shape, greens are good but pretty slow. Not nearly as slow as pace of play though, no reason for an almost 5 hour round on a weekday morning

I love this golf course and often play here. It has a beautiful layout, well maintained fairways and greens. It offers a right amount of challenge too.

Every time when i played here, I found its staff very friendly. However, yesterday I noted something very extraordinary. After my round in a hot afternoon, I was totally exhausted. I needed some rest before I could drive home. Its staff noted my condition and came to me and offer their help. One gentleman asked me if he could bring my car closer and another gentleman brought me ice in a cup and cold bottle of water to cool me down, which helped me a lot.

I am very impressed of their kindness and concern.

I play this course at least three or four times per month, and I enjoy the challenge. But the last couple of times out, much of the fun has been taken away by the areas in front of and around nearly all of the greens have been subjected to excessive (in my opinion) irrigation. I realize the heat this year is higher than average, and we have had nearly zero rain for over a month, but greens can be kept healthy in such conditions without turning their surroundings into literal mud holes. Very disappointing.

Always value for the money, loved having ice water on so many holes. Please have a car person driving around selling drink, snacks, and food next time thanks!

A challenging layout and course conditions are the best I've ever seen, especially the greens. They're rolling true and consistent, which is rare for this time of year with temps at +100 everyday. They're doing a great job of keeping this course in top shape!

Greens were recently punched and still recovering. Courses should be required to mention this or provide a disclaimer when booking.

Lots of golfers, slow pace but not terrible.
