The Club at Pecan Grove - Grove/Plantation

The title says it all-- the greens need immediate attention. Most of them are crusty and the crust breaks up into dirt. Those greens that are not crusty are bumpy.

Course is under renovations and once the greens are rebuilt this place will recapture its past glory.

Greens need some TLC. Pace of place was good and staff were great too.

It is surprising as to how poorly maintained this golf course is. This has been a persistent issue for years. I thought that with new ownership, that things would change, but sadly they have not.

Majority of greens are unputtable, tee boxes are not flat. There are literally bare areas on the greens (some cases 5x 5 YARDS), and poa sprouts all over the place.

Not worth $25 to play.

When i arrived to pro-shop i was told that i did not have a reservation, even taht i showed muly golf now app, I was told that there wasno chance to book me as everything was booked.They called golf now and found that my name was replaced by another one but all data in my profike was correct(weird)

I finally played in my own ,3 pkayers in front of me and 1 player in front if them, whay was i told everything was filull? Can we please fund why the missbooking they said it was a golf now issue

Course conditions can be improved (greens are in terrible shape). Staff remain as friendly as ever.

This course is under construction. 18 of 27 open and they are working on bring the club back into a better place to play. They recently took over from a company that bled the club dry. In another year they will be in prim condition if they can continue with their plans.

I would definitely play again for a good hot rate deal but the greens were pretty bad. They rolled ok for the condition but most holes half of the green was unusable, they did put the pins on the playable side though. The staff was some of the nicest and helpful people I’ve come across.

Played Pecan to Grove. Pecan greens have weeds abd Grove greens suffered from the recent freeze and parts are still rough. Restrooms are newly refurbished though.

A couple greens were in bad shape but overall this course is strategic and the staff is very friendly.

Good layout, people were friendly but the green are dead. Literally.putting on dirt at times. It’s a shame you could tell it was a nice place.

The majority of the greens are in horrible shape, but they were honest at the clubhouse. They said they’re trying to bring them back 9 at a time since there’s 3..9 holes..however there’s no bathrooms or water tanks anywhere on any of the holes which surprised me for a CC. I feel this course needs to decide either go full-time public or private.. The way it is now you have members wanting the course to themselves and getting upset with pace of play.. They say a few choice words and cut in front of everybody.. If it was public you’d have a ton more money for the course, it could be an elite muni course for sure… because of constant building there’s less and less public courses… for me, it’s five minutes from my house. I can put up with frustrated members.. but I get it I would be to at 450+ a month…

The course is in good condition with green fairways and greens. You can see they've been working on the course.

This was one of the most disappointing and unprofessional experiences I have had at a golf course and restaurant.

On Saturday the 28th, I was playing with friends and went to the bar to order a couple of drinks. The bartender prepared the drinks incorrectly. I ordered a transfusion, which is a simple four-ingredient cocktail, but it was made with cranberry juice. When I politely asked for it to be corrected, the bartender insisted the drink was made properly, even though it clearly was not.

Additionally, the service at our table was frustrating. Our server did not return our change after payment, and I had to go to the bar and locate her to get it back. I certainly did not intend to leave a $40 tip, and the situation felt very unprofessional. She was a lady who was clearly Hispanic with a very strong accent.

Overall, the service and attention to detail were disappointing. Unfortunately, based on this experience, I would not return or recommend this location unless there are improvements in customer service. Other than that the course was beautiful and the cart was really nice. Sadly I won’t be returning cause of my horrible experience.

Was looking for a last minute tee time and found on at Pecan Grove. Checkin was quick and easy. I was directed to one of the two 9’s. I was able to get off right away.the course was in good shape for winter golf. Fairways green and starting to come in. The greens were consistent and smooth.

The course layout is fair with some challenging doglegs and water.

Overall a good value for the miney

Course greens are in fair conditions and somewhat good value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful.

It's a nice layout but has been in terrible shape for the list handful of years according to the staff, but new ownership and they're trying to improve. So many fairways I'm hitting off of hard-packed clay with no grass and greens with green colored sand to hide all the bald patches. If I actually tracked my handicap, I don't think I would even report the round. Greens were almost impossible with Tufts of grass growing so the ball would just bounce bounce bounce.

The staff was super friendly in the restaurant and pro shop and the food was pretty good. Drinks were priced fairly.
