Worst faiway I have ever seen. Four hundred yards of bumpy washboard terrain. I thought cart was going to come apart it was so rough.

Rained out after 6 Holes
I’ve played this course numerous times now this summer and have only positive things to say. I’ve played all three and think that as bad as a drought we’re having the core still looks pretty decent.
I was rained out after six holes yesterday and have put a call into the golf shop to see if I can get a rain check I am hoping that they were honor this request.

How about course staff either put water out or At least have cart girl drive around and offer something to drink on a hot Saturday afternoon round of golf…….

Staff was not accommodating arrived a bit early spoke with the Course Marshal and Proshop Clerk and asked about getting on a little early before our tee time.
The Marshal stated the course was wide open, but the proshop clerk denied allowing us to start a little early. We got rained out on the back 9, the proshop closed early before the end of business hours that day. When I called the next day to ask about a rain check for the back 9, I was told the Pecan Grove CC does not allow rain checks for Golf Now customers. Really disappointed about the lack of customer service and the way they seem to treat non members who play at the club. I wouldn’t recommend them.
9 Holes Only

Due to weather, I was at risk of playing after 9 holes. Only played half the round. Please let me know if I can get some sort of credit. I do have proof of weather issues

Good course for the price
I like playing at Pecan Grove. The staff is very welcoming and always accommodating. Pace of play is typically great given the 27 holes on the course.

Needs maintenance
Course seems to have a major termite problem. While walking the fairway, there are crack/tunnels you can see into in the ground that appear to be termite tunnels. Many of the trees are hollowed out by termites as well to the point we cam to a tee box on the Grove course that had a massive tree chopped down and chopped up laying on the ground next to the tee box. Course is actually really nice and has a lot of potential but needs some maintenance and pest control. Also if you play when it is in triple digits, be aware they do not have water stations and no cart person with refreshments, and we were there during the peak hours. We had to wait until we finished our first 9 to refill our water jugs.
