In serious need of total renovation!
Greens are horrible, patchy, bumpy, haphazardly mown and fungus abound, Any approach from within 125yds will be off clay with patchy grass or concrete! Struggle to find a level T-Box. Municipal courses are in better shape, feel bad for their membership!

Had a good day
The two singles I eventually joined up with were fun golf companions. One was in his late 70s, the other in his mid 20s. The new green on the back nine (Grove) was great. The grass in front was like moderate rough and stopped my iron shot so short I had to wedge to get to the green which was large and rolled true. That said, my only three putt led to my only double bogey ( just missed my four footer bogey putt). That said, I had my best round in a month, shot 84.

I would rate this course a 3.5 star. Golf carts are hard to get some days ,!so it affects your tee time.

Pecan Grove
Very difficult course. Lots out holes with OB on both sides of fairway. Conditions vary from week to week. Pecan course, for some reason they allows place the Blues Tees about 5 yards behind the White tees. Never understood their thinking on that.Doesn’t make sense. Beverage prices are outrageous for a middling country club.

The Pecan Grove
Kind of ‘worn down Pecan & Grove course. We were playing fairly quickly when ranger asked us (very nicely) to pick up our pace when the group behind us must have complained about our pace. Anyway there were only two more holes to play!
Greens were in very good shape, but grass was very dry and the course didn’t seem have been watered very much...

Great Course and Beautiful Clubhouse
The course had fun and interesting holes. Really enjoyed and must say, the clubhouse is very nice and large. What a great place to have a large party or banquet.

Great afternoon
Gotta love day in the 70’s in November teed off at 3 and just barely beat the dusk to get 18 in as a solo
course is in great shape greens are holding shots and putting true DEF worth playing if your in the area

Great Course with Friendly Staff
I booked a round of golf through Golfnow Hot Deals. The price I paid for 3 of us was very reasonable for Houston Golf Courses. The staff were all very helpful and very friendly. All my questions were answered and the starter was extremely helpful in explaining what courses to play as there were 27 holes here (Pecan/Grove/Plantation). The pace of play was a little slower than I would like but it wasn't something that would prevent me from playing here again. Overall a great place to play a round of golf that isn't too difficult.
