Great everyday Course to play
Love Pecan Grove....the staff, especially the front desk really make this a great course. Always super friendly.
The course itself has some "bad spots" mainly on some greens. They are currently re-sodding one green which really needed it, but there are others that need some TLC.
Would also love to see some public tee times during the week and on Saturdays (and to play plantation) but understand that is what memberships are for :)

Always Fun but could be better
Great Course, great layout, great staff. Okay yeah there are a few issues here and there, but overall wonderful course. Greens are always up and down out here. I have played the course when they are amazing, but this time, they were in pretty good shape, but very slow for some reason. They still rolled true, just slow. Still great pace of play. They have 27 holes out there, so not really going to get bored. If you play here, you will enjoy!

Nice course
It’s an nice course. For the price, greens and tee boxes are in very good shape. Course layout is a fun one. Couple of challenging drives. May have to hit over a tree or decide to cut a corner and layup. It’s a fun course. I’ll definitely be back.

Great value, good course.
The only ding I would give this was that we teed off at 1:50. When we made the turn, the snack bar/bar had already closed at 3:50. Wish we had been warned, as there was no beverage cart either and of course no water provided on the course due to COVID. Otherwise great round. Can't beat the price.

Terrible greens and unacknowledged modified par 3...terrible
The greens at this course leave much to be desired. They are consistently inconsistent and aside from constantly being bumpy, fuzzy, and poorly maintained. They made a modified par three (attached in photos) by making an actual hole with flagstick, roughly 25 yards short of the actual green.
Abysmal at best...

Our course also has emerald Bermuda grass, one of 3 courses to have this in Texas, and the greens have grown a little higher during this time of year. Dave’s Review
Pecan Grove is a good tight course lined with mature trees. Sand traps were in fair shape given the recent rains. Greens are elevated and In good condition. Pace of play was very good. Staff was very helpful and friendly.

Fix the golf carts
Steering systems on the golf carts is horrendous. No maintenance being done on that. This is the second time (out of two rounds) that we got a cart with defective steering. Fix it!

We placed an order for new parts a few weeks ago but unfortunately, many equipment companies are currently behind on orders. Need better greens
Overall course layout was fun to play. Greens need a complete makeover. Most green were dead and bumpy. If they fix that then this would be a nice course to play on the weekend.

Decent Course
Decent course but the greens are fairly patchy is some holes. They are spotty and some are very slow (overseeding potentially).
