Webb Hill Country Club

We really enjoyed this course today. The greens were in very good condition. Fairways were good also. It was apparent they had been working hard and watering a lot to keep the course in good condition.

Played the white tees (slope 124). Easiest drive is at #1. Narrow entry points to fairway at #3, #5 (which has quite the elevated green), #7, #9, #10, #14, & #16.. Don't miss right of the green at #6. Don't miss left (lots of trees) on #13. Bunkers, fairways, greens, & tee boxes not in the most optimal shape. On the back nine, one must take advantage of #10 & #11 as they are the easiest & 3rd easiest holes based on scorecard handicap. The 18th runs adjacent to the driving range. Excellent bang for the buck for the challenge it provides.

Webb Hill is always one of my favorite courses to play. It’s isolated location keeps it from ever being too busy, and the course is always in awesome shape.

Very nice rural course. With a little TLC, this course could easily outclass several of the municipal courses in the DFW metroplex.

I’m new to the area, and for this course to be rated 4 stars is utter embarrassment. If you want to play in a cow pasture then go ahead, I have never left a golf course due to conditions but this is just pure embarrassment. Stay away stay away.

This is a local course, I do not recommend you travel to it to play it, you will be let down. Save your money and time. I do not recommend it.

I played today to get a round in before the rain and snow returns to the DFW area. The downside to the course for some may be to far out in the country. The course has more elevation changes than most courses in the area and several blind tee shots. There are hole maps on each tee so a player can see the various landing areas. There is water in play on several holes and the holes are all tree lined. Shot placement is critical. Conditions are probably the weakness. It is winter and grass is dormant but the bunkers need work and grass on some of the greens is thin. That being said the gentleman manning the pro shop was very friendly and helpful. For the hot deal rate I received I can't complain about the less than stellar conditions. For that price it is well worth the drive.

I like this course a lot. Definitely the nicest course in my general area. I like the layout a lot, the pro said they were busy that day, but pave of play was great. Winter conditions had affected the greens somewhat, but the rest of the course was well maintained. Will definitely be playing here more in the future.

Always a fun round @ Webb Hill CC. Water leaks have been fixed and greens are looking better every time we go. Mr. Charles is a very nice man.

The course played well considering the conditions. It was stifling hot. But the greens were watered properly and were very slow. The pond pin l ou cations were spot on. Had to give up after 14 holes just too hot and we had a 9:30 T time. It is always a pleasure to visit with the owner he is a book of knowledge on Golf.and he is proud of his golf course. Staff was incredible. The ground crew was very courteous.
