At the par-5 eleventh, the pond that guards the green may not seem all that threatening from this view. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/11/2024

A huge pond looms large over much of hole fifteen. On the approach lies a landing zone, however, for those who want to run the ball onto the green. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 11/11/2024

Tallwood’s second hole, a mere 302 yards, plays as a tight and tricky par-4. Photo submitted by AptlyLinked on 05/22/2023

Nice Greens
Always enjoy this course as a change of pace from my home course in the area. Nicest greens in town for sure.
Nice greens
Very nice greens. Wish there were shakers available to fill in divots. Course was in good shape but could be better with responsible golfers pitching in. I will play again. Best greens in town

Almost 5 hours to play. At one point we could see 4 holes. Group in front of us had more than 1 hole open between them and the next group and there was at least one hole open in front of that group. There should have been a ranger on the course to take care of that.

Worth the Drive
My 14 year old son introduced me to this course last year as he plays for his high school golf team who has their tournament at Tallwood. My son asked again this year to go play a round before his tournament.
Hebron is about a 45 minute drive, and is absolutely worth it. I'm hoping to play there a few more times before the season ends. Highly recommend!

Best bang for buck. Great course layout, scenery, and condition
I played on a sun afternoon for a VERY reasonable rate and wasn’t sure what to expect. I’m a 6 handicap but was taking out a friend who is just starting out and needed a left handed rental set. I was very happy with the layout and conditions. The fairways are open and receptive but there are challenges throughout. Other courses I have played in the area are short off the tee and often can’t pull out the driver but this course was inviting to let it rip and green complexes were interesting and well maintained. Speed of greens were good and consistent. I prefer fast greens and while these weren’t lightening fast, they rolled true and rewarded a good putt. The scenery is stunning with rolling hills and lily ponds. Bev cart came around at least 3 times and we teed off at 3:09 pm. Pro shop staff was very friendly and happily sold us some merch. Also great bonus to have a grass range to warm up with a great chipping green and putting green. For me this may be the “best bang for buck” in the area and will definitely be back.

Thanks so much for the great review. We look forward to welcoming you back to our course soon. Thanks for choosing Tallwood Country Club.
First Look
First time I've played the course and found it a good challenge with many different options to consider on several holes.

Great experience at Tallwood
I played this course once last year and enjoyed it. Yesterday the course was in great shape, and the scenery was beautiful. For how nice it is, I find it to still be laid back and very reasonably priced, It’s a little farther for me to get to but well worth it. I plan to be back often.

Wow! We are so happy you enjoyed your round! We look forward to seeing you again soon at Tallwood Country Club.
