Tower Ridge Country Club

Overall, the course is in very good shape. The greens have not recovered fully from the winter. But, they are very playable and quick. We payed mid-day during mid week and played in about 3 1/2 hours. No one behind and the two-some in front of us let us play through with no issues. The white tees were placed well forward. Really too far forward in some instances. In summary, the course is in good shape, offers some challenging holes with a good pace of play.

Fairway leaves come into play on just a few holes. Same with rough. Fall attracts too many guys taking too much time looking for balls. This course was no exception. Pace moderate. Try the seafood bisque in restaurant if they serve it.

This course was kept well. No holes in the middle of fairways and crew did a good job of controlling the amount of leaves on the fairways not that it helped me because I was in the woods all day. Challenging elevations from tee boxes and on greens keep things interesting as well as the views from the mountainside. I like this course a lot and will like it even more when I can keep my balls in the fairways.

The course is challenging but fair. The greens are hard and fast. Hard to keep the ball on the greens unless you roll onto them.

After a 1 hour frost delay, we tackled the front nine. Pace of place was very slow on the front nine. The back nine was better paced. The holes are strategically placed on the greens so that every putt is challenging. The course is in decent shape for this time of year. The staff was dismissive at best. I would play this course again earlier in the season.

This is a challenging course with some narrow fairways, blind approach shots and difficult greens. Beware first timers.

The tees showed some use, the greens were good, unfortunately so were the traps. The staff was friendly and helpful. Fairways are a good mix for all styles, some long par fours, several short threes. Good mix. The layout is kind of quirky but the direction sheet we received from the staff was helpful. You will need it, make sure and get it.

The greens at Tower Ridge are always some of the best and most difficult around. The fairways are coming back from early in the year when the Farmington River flooded over its banks for about a week flooding the holes on the river side of Nod Road.

Great greens for this time of the year, and truly a thinking mans course. Short par fours will make you rethink your selection off the tee box, and the greens are set up for some very challenging approach shots. Plus they have a 245 yard par 3!! Really awesome to challenge your longer clubs.
Play this course, I guarantee you will have a good time regardless of what you shoot.

This course is charging $59.00 per golfer, The fairways are a disaster and the greens are not much better. Save your money.

Very challenging track with tight fairways and lots of obsticles. Up and down the mountain - hard course to walk. Several holes intermingle can cause a bit of confusion, but nice layout carved out of the ridge

We love the elevation changes and the family friendly atmosphere.

First review of a golf course because the course conditions were so bad. What a disappointment, right of the first tee the fairway had big patches of dirt. Thought we were playing a badly run municipal. This is not worth the money. I would not give them such a bad review, but it looked like zero dollars have been spent on maintenance and repair of the course. Do yourself a favor, go down the street to play a better course.

The fairways were in poor shape but the tee boxes were adequate and the greens well maintained. Price was not okay for the conditions in late August. I had fun playing and would love to see the course in pristine condition.
