Great course for the money
Indian Hills is a very scenic and moderately tough golf course. It was very enjoyable playing it. Hole #16 is a challenge... Will definitely play it again if I get back to Fairfield Bay, Ark.
Pace of play the only downfall
We caught up to a group of 6 on the 3rd hole and they would not let up play through. We waited on them every hole after that 3 through 9. Two groups behind us got tired of waiting on continued on to the hold in front of this group. They finally let us play through on hole 10. A few greens are in need of repair in spots but overall, I enjoy playing this course. Staff is excellent here.

First time playing this course.
First off let me begin by saying the staff were amazing. Super friendly and made me feel very welcome.
I will be back for that reason alone.
The course needs work.
Tee boxes were not level with aggravating high and low spots.
As this is winter and we have had some rains there are many washouts.
The cart paths were in bad shape.
The most aggravating aspect was the lack of signs directing you to the next tee. As this was my first time playing this course it was very frustrating.
I will finish with saying again that the staff were the best and I suspect the management is in the process of making improvements.
I will be back.
Local
The greens have been sorted out and you can see money being invested. I enjoy playing here, especially the 8th and 16th . Negative - course is on the short side, especially the Par 5s.
Indian Hills
Always enjoy playing there. Staff is great. A few tee boxes and greens are rough but they are working on it.
Golfnow has not updated changes to the gold course. It is now a par 72 with changes in the distances from most of the tees.
Trip June
Front side greens shaggy and slow, back side greens burnt with sand showing Fairways were ok, course layout is dogleg after dogleg need to work ball left and right
Course was in good shape for the most part. The areas that need attention are the tee boxes and greens. Looks as if the where starting to loose the greens. ( some sort of disease) Also, these greens were 90% good with only 10% affected. The tee boxes were not very level.( holes and humps on boxes) Other than those issues It was very enjoyable. We will come back again. Note, they have added some boxes and changed up some of the layout of the course. So it is apparent they are trying to remedy some of the issues.
Rough in every way
Greens dead & bare spots, fairways mostly weeds, tee box wore bare. Don’t play at even half price again.Sorry condition, was nice 4 years ago, Now worst course in area hands down .
Dry conditions
Fairways were extremely dry for this time of the year. Several of the greens were in really bad shape. Course is well maintained. Need some rain!
