Great course!
This is a great course for the average player. Pretty straight forward, great greens, some ground under repair in a couple of fairways, but overall a great course. The staff at the Pro Shop was extremely nice and helpful. Told us about everything going on with the course, and that part of the construction taking place was to build a driving range. And even told us about the Indian cave on hole 9, which was very interesting to see. Will definitely play this course again when I'm in Fairfield Bay, AR!
Good golf course for the money
Some of the greens have bad sections on them. Course is still fun to play for the cost. Very friendly staff. Always enjoy my play there.
Good value
Course was wide open, played as a single. Waited briefly on a foursome in front of me, they allowed me to play through, and it was clear sailing from there on. The course is challenging from the blue and white tees, you have to think your way around. Greens were in good condition, no pitch marks, unlike northern courses. They're in the process of making some improvements to the course to make a bit more player friendly, a driving range is in the works as is an indoor simulator in the future. Staff and members are pleasant and friendly, you can grab a bite and drinks at the Little Red Restaurant next to the clubhouse. I vacation here often and play the course 6-12 rounds a year.
Great golf course
Me and my husband love this course and the people that run it are always very friendly!
Nice course
The course was in good shape considering the recent rain. The greens were pretty difficult as none of them were flat although they were pretty large. The gold carts were new and very nice. The Indian caves on hole 9 were a must see.
My #1 choice for a great golfing experience
Always accommodating and friendly. Staff has it together! Great times! My first choice!
Awesome
Rory and staff are great. No problems. More than accommodating us. Can’t wait to play there again.
Bang for buck
I though the course was nice for what it cost. I would definitely go back and play it at that rate.
Good day
Good course. Challenging and tight is some spots. Lost a few balls but will come back
Solitude!
We love playing Indian Hills golf course cause it is so quite and relaxing! Very friendly staff and the people that live around the course couldn't be any friendlier either! And the course has an awesome cave you can explore on the 9th hole! Very cool!
Tight course, but always fun
Rory is a great addition to this course. The course, for late winter, is in really good shape. There is a couple tee boxes that could be addressed, but over all the course is in great shape. Pace of play is always steady. Our group plays here 2-3 times a month year around and it’s roughly a 40-45 minute drive. Well worth the drive.
Fun course
fun course, good layout. It was not nearly as tight as the reviews that I had read and people had told me that it was going to be. you do have to keep your ball in the Fairway or carry lots of balls but it is a fairly short track so it's no big deal. Just leave your driver put up and play a 3-wood or two hybrid. the conditions were good for winter golf considering it was January oh, the greens were a little hard to get along with, very long and Shaggy, like putting through a shag carpet but otherwise it was great. Will definitely go back and play during the golf season when all the grasses come back to life
Great day to play
Staff was excellent as always. Fairways were in good shape, cut nicely. Some of the greens had what I believe to be crab grass growing in spots that made putting more difficult due to that grass. Are cart did have battery issues but the staff let us change carts when we made the turn. I believe we got a great value to play this course for what we paid. We will play this course again.
Great
Course was in great condition for a mountain layout in a heavily treed area
Lots of fun
Best Value
Very good course, “Great” people. Good selection in the pro shop.. They are having trouble with some of the greens, but they are working on them. Best value for the money. The staff is great to work with.
