Course is always busy; a sign of its popularity. Our foursome still played in just under 4 hours despite a 15-minute weather delay. Staff is friendly and cooperative.

everything went smoothly! for the 4th of July.. we thought it would be slower.. but we did just fine!

Great course for the price (with the Golfnow hot deal). Pace of play was excellent. Usually on weekend afternoon you have to plan for a 5 hour round. We finished just shot of 4 hours and never waited on a hole.

What a great course! Not only was it extremely well maintained, the greens were the most challenging I have ever played on. Not because of the rolls, which it did have, they were so fast! I have never played on greens so fast and challenged my skills. I would definitely recommend playing this course.

Challenging but fair, this course is always busy meaning you will have a wait on almost every hole so patience is warranted. Conditions are very good.

The course grounds are nicely kept (tee boxes and fairways in good condition, and greens very fast and rolling true). Unfortunately, our foursome was two groups behind a foursome that had no golf etiquette on a Sunday at 8:45am. It took us 1hr:15mins to play 4 holes. We called the clubhouse to get a ranger out to help speed up play. They had two open holes ahead and took until #5 to let the threesome behind them play through. We waited on every single shot and they still showed no signs of speeding up play, nor did they wave us up on the par 3 #8. We skipped #8 in order to get ahead, and sure enough finished # 9 before they were even off #9 tee. Front 9 took 2hr 40mins. Back 9 was much more pleasant at 1hr 45 mins, but still made for a very long day. Overall the course is in a scenic area, and offers a challenging round with many mature tree-lined fairways and fast nicely manicured greens. Glad to have tried it but will not be hurrying back.

Turkeyfoot Lake may be the most well-kept public course in the Akron area. The fairways are beautifully kept, teeboxes are great, and the greens are FANTASTIC. Very fast greens, which I like, and are very true. A good mixture of short and long holes of varying difficulty. Accuracy off the tee is essential here, and keep your approach shots below the hole, or else you may very well have difficulty with a downhill putt for birdie, one that may easily become a bogey. Playing here was a steal for $27, and I highly recommend it to any golfer.

The designer of this course left everything where it laid. Ridges in the green made one put almost impossible. It was an unusual the way it was laid out but that is what golf is all about, making the best of what you got. A variety of clubs had to be used to circumvent this course. I did well to break 90 and glad I didn't go on the other 9 holes of water hazards. The course was long and made up with several par 3's that demand exact shooting. I'll play it again..

Tee to green the conditions were just average. The greens were perfect if you like hard and fast. Greens would not hold a shot even from a wedge so 125 became 110 with 15 yards of roll. Downhill they were running at least 14 and uphill they were 11. I LOVE fast greens and these scared me!!

great variety of holes. long 5s,short 4s, and UNBELIEVABLE greens. my favorite course in the cleveland-akron area. sand base provides dry and tight fairways. Turkey Rocks!!!

First time here. What a beautiful
course. Extremely fast manicured greens. The course was in perfect shape for early May. I will come back here again, just can't say enough about this great challenging and great layout. Wow, Akron you have a gem here.

This is the first course I think of playing after a lot of rain. It drains so well. Course conditions are always great and the greens roll fantastic. Make sure you are below the hole or your day will be filled with 3 putts. Staff is very friendly. The rates are a little high but there are deals to be found especially using a hot rate thru GolfNow.

I played this course on October 21st and it was well maintained. Leaves had been blown off the fairways and the greens were in great shape! They were doing some work on the tee boxes so some of these were in strange temporary locations. Pace of play was good for a Sunday afternoon on a beautiful fall day.

Top 3 course in Akron/Canton area. Beautiful par 5's and tough par 3's including #2 par 3 with a star green. Greens are fast and true. This is a must play if you haven't played before.

Played this course in the past. Was pleasantly surprised as to the great shape it was in. Greens and fairways in very good condition. Enjoyed the round, will go back. Staff also friendly.
