About
Canyons Golf Course has a scenic location surrounded by both the Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges. The course sits at the center of Canyons Resort, which serves as a ski resort in the winter. The course takes advantage of the dramatic landscape with six holes that are intermingled with skiable terrain. From each of the course's elevated tees you'll enjoy stunning mountain views to accompany the challenging design. The hilly golf course features more than 550 feet of elevation change. The most intimidating height comes on the 10th hole, which has a 297-foot elevation change from tee to green. Strategically placed bunkers complement the contours of the layout and there are also water hazards coming into play on several holes. Canyons Golf Course's 18th is the most memorable water hole with an island green encircled by the Willow Draw Stream.

Absolutely beautiful
Beautiful course with a challenging layout. We were immediately met with a cart in the parking lot. Then we were given tips about the course and layout since it was our first time there. Beautiful scenery throughout the entire course. Only hiccup we had was the sprinklers were turned on when we got to the 10th hole.
Great fun
A mountain golf course that is very doable for an average player . Beautiful views from every hole.
Construction
So much construction going on surrounding the course. Very tricky/tight layout with many blind shots. Wet complicated green complexes. Decent views but feel the course is a couple years away.
Spectacular Views - Challenging Layout
Canyons has two holes where the mountain top view is so dramatic - 350 ft. drop from the black tees. Don't let the 6000 yd black tee fool you. Plenty long - and impossible to finish round with same ball you started with. Fabulous conditions, strategic bunkers, and this course cannot be walked!
Fun golf at canyons
This is a fun course that is built next to ski runs, lots of elevation changes, don’t even think about walking this course! Loved all the staff.
Great Views
Course was in great shape. A great variety of holes. Scenic views on all of the first 10 holes. Target golf and lots of long putts!
Really challenging
Awsome elevated tees. Especially on the front side, as well as hole #10. Greens putt true. If you hit the greens on the top shelf and your going down hill, its impossible to keep ball on the green.
Views and setting are best in Park City
The course is narrow since it's competing with valuable ski real estate. The dramatic vistas and tee box views are some of the best in the State. Course lacks a range or chipping area, otherwise an amazing experience. Weather changed quickly, so only completed 9 holes. Staff was great.
Amazing View
Love this course. Great elevation change and the view was the best part. Course is well maintained. Highly recommend.
Quirky
I had high expectations going into this course and it was somewhat underwhelming. The conditions were very good with the greens rolling smooth but, for the money there are better courses in the area. The views are amazing though of the holes are on mountian sides or ski slopes. The design is compact, and course very quirky and odd. A decent course but a little to out there for me.
Mountain goats will love it
No clubhouse, many dirt and gravel cart paths, front nine on ski mountain,, poor refreshments,, beautiful vistas make up for much and it’s inexpensive.
Friendly staff. Beautiful course, very challenging
Tricked Up
The course was in good shape but an unusual (not in a good way) golfing experience. Parking is a ways away. No practice range and the course (front side especially) was tricked up. No towels, no water available until the 5th hole. Mud cart paths. Many of the greens were severve and somewhat ridiculous. Beautiful seenery. Probably will not be back.
Crazy but fun course
Gorgeous course with a ton of elevation. Staff was very nice. Played for $75 which is a bargain in a town that is very expensive. I would definitely play again for that cost.
The negatives
* only saw the cart girl on #1. We called on 14 and they said you can stop after 15 and you pass a 7-11?????? We did stop and get a drink. Supposed to be a drink/food station on 5 but it wasn’t open. Another water station on back 9 and it was almost empty. Bring lots of liquids.
* the geeens are in excellent shape but the undulations were crazy. Had several 50 foot putts where I expected to also have to hit through a clowns mouth.
* on most holes it is extremely tight especially on several holes where there are elevated tee boxes.
* bring a lot of golf balls
With all of this being said we had a great time and would probably play much better the 2nd time knowing where we need to aim on blind shots. Beautiful views!!
