Skyway Golf Course at Lincoln Park West

Great conditions, friendly staff And rangers on the course. Finished in about 2 hours

Approximately 15 minutes from Holland Tunnel, a golf oasis awaits. Located on Route 9 South in a highly industrial area lies 9 beautiful golf holes. Hudson County has managed to transport golfers away with 3 par 3s, 3 par 4s and 3 par 5s. There are 5 sets of tees designed to

allow all golfers to play from a comfortable distance but maintain the challenge.. Most greens are large and undulating. The course is links style with high mounding and fescue separating the holes. Yesterday they went the extra mile with a Ranger driving the course to contact free water and iced towels. An even better idea.

Skyway is in great shape! Go play! You will not be disappointed.

I love coming here to walk a quick 9 holes if time is tight as the course is maintained well and the course has its challenges with blind shots, level changes, dog legs etc.

The only downside is that there are balls flying all over the course with others in your fairway as it is links style and holes are somewhat close to one another, but the pros definitely outweigh the cons and I’ll be back!

Its great location for a hudson county local. Difficulty in my opinion is up there. If you use your driver your accuracy needs to be above 80%. Very narrow and curvy fairways. Took about 2hours for 9holes.

Must experience at least once.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with a 9 hole course in Jersey City. Best layout I’ve seen in New Jersey in the year I’ve been here. Entire course from tee boxes to greens is in remarkable shape. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Can’t wait to go back.

Overall an awesome loop. Well kept, aesthetically pleasing, great views. Almost felt like a 9 hole version of Trump links (but at a fraction of the price). Incredibly efficient use of space. Some long, legitimate par 5s. Course rewards accuracy over distance.

Pace of play stinks, but since its only 9 holes thats not too much of a concern. While the mounds make you feel blocked off from other holes/fairways, the course is still extremely tight. You’re average weekend golfer could easily hit a ball onto another fairway, but be blind to where the shot lands so you never really know when you’re putting another group in danger.
