Skyway Golf Course at Lincoln Park West

Its great location for a hudson county local. Difficulty in my opinion is up there. If you use your driver your accuracy needs to be above 80%. Very narrow and curvy fairways. Took about 2hours for 9holes.

Must experience at least once.

Can’t believe I’ve played golf throughout NJ for 20 years and never decided to play this place.

Wasn’t sure what to expect with a 9 hole course in Jersey City. Best layout I’ve seen in New Jersey in the year I’ve been here. Entire course from tee boxes to greens is in remarkable shape. The entire staff was friendly and professional. Can’t wait to go back.

Overall an awesome loop. Well kept, aesthetically pleasing, great views. Almost felt like a 9 hole version of Trump links (but at a fraction of the price). Incredibly efficient use of space. Some long, legitimate par 5s. Course rewards accuracy over distance.

Pace of play stinks, but since its only 9 holes thats not too much of a concern. While the mounds make you feel blocked off from other holes/fairways, the course is still extremely tight. You’re average weekend golfer could easily hit a ball onto another fairway, but be blind to where the shot lands so you never really know when you’re putting another group in danger.

great 9 hole course. number of challenging holes that requires all of the clubs in your bag.. The greens are well kept and fast. Staff in office is very friendly. pace was good. tee and holes accommodate low handicappers re distance.

This is a real golf course. From the right tees it is challenging for a low handicap golfer. From the right tees it is reasonable for a mid handicap golfer. From the wrong tees... well you know where this is going. For a beginner golfer this would be a very challenging round.

Pretty serious group of golfers on weekend mornings at least. Pace is quick and most players walk with their bags. In short- the way golf should be played!

I love how public golf pairs complete strangers with each other- uniting them solely based on their love of the game. Really interesting crowd at Skyway. Locals from New Jersey, people visiting the area who have heard or read about it, and finance guys from the city playing a quick nine to warm up for the round at their club later in the day.

Truly excellent. As good as munis get in New York. And if you appreciate the beauty of muni golf- and any true golfer should- Skyway is simply a must play.
